Öxará (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈœksarˌauː], "axe river") is a lake-to-lake river in Iceland in Þingvellir National Park, a tributary of Lake Þingvallavatn.[1] It descends to the rift forming Öxarárfoss, a waterfall.[2]
