In response to this story, in a comment which I intended to put on the Washington Post site but got rebuffed due to "comments temporarily being disabled", I said the following:

Hi, I'm Rickyrab. This sort of nonsense happens every time someone gets into a crisis or people get excited: people like to "jump the gun" and say a President-Elect is President, someone badly hurt is dead, and so on and so forth. This leads to a lot of reversions, but it happens. At least reversions of vandalism tend to be prompt.

This user loves to eat strawberries.

I have a page up on http://editthis.info/rickyrabpedia/WP:BJAODN, which is an external wiki. — Rickyrab | Talk 22:04, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
