Consistency for Characters

edit

While I like that this article feels better with a character list, there's an interesting problem that Amanda isn't listed at all. And I would also wonder if the article is going to take the time to name all the not that important Gardener characters, might it also be fair to list the MaddAddam characters too? I would think it would make more sense to either add them, or just list the very important characters.69.171.176.127 (talk) 22:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on The Year of the Flood. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. In "Main Characters" section, on Oryx, Crake...
there are a few sentences of mere editorial critical opinion re how well drawn the characters are. This mere personal opinion should be omitted. Also, the incorrect use of "obfuscated". I will proceed with such tomorrow pending responses here. Cheerio, T

Addendum: Does anyone know, --have page refs for, or other primary source substantiation-- whether the term "pleeb" refers to a member (person) living in the pleeblands, (which is how I understood the term), or whether it refers to a spatial area in pleebland, which is how the unrevised text treated it?

As the word "pleeb" obviously wordplay-refers to "plebeian", which as noun is basically a lowbrow, common, vulgar person; my take on "pleeb" would naturally follow. Tommster1 (talk) 01:28, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Tommster1Reply

Addendum2:

In light of the fact that any 2nd book of a trilogy vaguely "sets the scene" for the final book, Does anyone else here think the following sentence is basically vacuous:

"...and it sets the scene for the final book of the trilogy, MaddAddam"? I propose omitting it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommster1 (talkcontribs) 01:51, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
