review -- the author does seem to have some notability. But this page was created to prevent the mistaken redirect to Encyclopaedia of Islam, which is an entirely different work. The New Encyclopedia of Islam is a work by a single author from the "Traditionalist School" of Rene Guenon (i.e. Westerners interested in Islamic esotericism). --dab (𒁳) 15:41, 23 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
