Acknowledging Antiquity’s role with the Theoretical Archaeology Group (TAG) conference
editI am aware that a sentence acknowledging the support Antiquity gives to the annual TAG conference has recently been deleted by another editor. I am starting this thread to open a dialogue on this. I personally think that the role the journal plays with TAG should be acknowledged in this article. Indeed, it might be worth acknowledging other conferences where Antiquity has a presence, such as the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) conference. - I removed that phrase and just did so again. It says that the journal contributes "significantly" to TAG, but that is nowhere supported in the source given. You'll need an independent reliable source that says this. All I see from the link that you gave is that one year Antiquity "hosted" TAG, but it is not really clear what that means and whether it is "significant". --Randykitty (talk) 12:30, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- I understand the need for independent and reliable sources. I hope the revised version of the sentence with new sources meets these criteria. Many thanks. Admt999 (talk) 17:47, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
