Protagonista de uma história de amor proibido, reabilitou a memória da sua amada fazendo-a sepultar no Mosteiro de Alcobaça. A arca túmular narra a vida de São Bartolomeu, seu santo protector. Uma representação da Roda da Vida simboliza a sua própia história e o seu amor por Inês de Castro.
