English: The Kay Theater opened on N. Main Street in Rockdale, Texas on November 27, 1947 and closed in the early 1960’s. For years it fell into serious disrepair until a group calling themselves the Kay Theater Foundation restored it about 2005-2008. It is now a performing arts center often featuring musical groups.
