Submission declined on 25 December 2024 by Ktkvtsh (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. - Comment: Words such as numerous and visionary have no place here. The tone needs to be flat, neutral. We need dull-but-worthy prose. This is a paean of praise. We also have no interest in whim he interacted with. Please see WP:NOTINHERITED. I've interacted with a couple of celebrities, but I don't get notability from doing that.Certificates of participation are not useful. They are like getting a "Been to Auckland" badge. This needs a rewrite, top to bottom, starting with decent references. Fandoms, blogs and Youtube are not valid references and need to be removed and replaced. You need only to prove that he passes WP:NATHLETE by dint of referencing. There is a great deal of work to do here. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:27, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Needs more varied sources, not all from one website. Needs seperating into sections. Thanks, Wikieditor019 (Talk to me) 17:37, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
Thomas Clark, born on June 19, 1984, is a professional wrestler from New Zealand. Over his 20-year career, he has competed in various wrestling promotions around the globe. Clark has captured the attention of audiences with his performances on televised wrestling events.
Mania Pro Wrestling
editClark launched his career in 2001 with Mania Pro Wrestling[1] in New Zealand, debuting under the persona Tommy Combat. Combat's first match was against The Assassin in Kumeu, Auckland, on June 30, 2001. Notably, on June 8, 2002, Combat competed in a table match against Daddy Kool in Greenlane, Auckland, before heading to the United States to enhance his training.
Heartland Wrestling Association
editIn the U.S., Combat trained at Les Thatcher's Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) in Cincinnati, Ohio, for six months. While Les Thatcher oversaw the HWA, Combat's hands-on training was under the guidance of Cody Hawk.[2]
Impact Pro Wrestling
editUpon returning to New Zealand, Combat found himself at an important moment in the of New Zealand pro wrestling. A group of wrestlers from Mania Pro Wrestling decided to carve out a new path, leading to the birth of Impact Pro Wrestling (IPW). At IPW's inaugural show during the Wellington Armageddon Expo in April 2003[3], Combat clinched victories against Jon E. King and Heartless Alfred Valentine.
International Wrestling Australia
editIn 2004, Combat moved to Australia to join International Wrestling Australia (IWA), adopting the new moniker Tommy Tamati. In IWA, Tamati competed throughout New South Wales, often teaming up with IWA's owner, Mark Mercedes, as a heel in tag team matches. On March 11, 2004, Tamati won the IWA Trans-Tasman Championship[4] in Mudgee, NSW, from Brad Phoenix but lost it back to Phoenix five days later in Tamworth, NSW.[5] On 27 March 2004, Combat competed against Rob Matrix for the IWA Heavyweight Championship in Muswellbrooke, NSW, in a losing effort.[6] After a brief stint of two more months at IWA, Tamati took a long hiatus.
Middle Kingdom Wrestling
editOver the next 13 years, Clark occasionally participated in matches in New Zealand, making sporadic one-off appearances until 2017, when he returned to more regular competition. Now residing in China, Clark joined Middle Kingdom Wrestling (MKW)[7], competing as a face character named Triple T. This new persona combined his previous moniker, Tommy Tamati, with 'Tuomasi' (the Chinese equivalent of Thomas).
Triple T made his MKW debut on June 2, 2017, in Harbin, China, against Italian wrestler Mad Tiger. After several matches, Triple T competed for the MKW Championship against Britain's Big Sam on March 17, 2018.[8] Uncle Money interfered in the match on behalf of Big Sam, costing Combat to lose the match. Combat challenged Uncle Money to a grudge match that would take place two months later. On May 2, 2018, Combat would get his revenge by defeating Uncle Money.[9] Following this victory, Triple T turned heel, reverting to his original wrestling name, Tommy Combat. With Khan Spirasi as his manager, Combat formed the Flat Earth Foundation (FEF), embracing a gimmick that promoted the flat earth conspiracy theory, anti-vaccination views, and the outlandish claim that New Zealand does not exist.
A career highlight for Combat was his participation in the main event of The Belt & Road Tournament[10] in Kathmandu, Nepal, on May 11, 2019. Competing in Nepal's largest indoor hall at the Dasharath Rangasala Stadium, Combat fought in a fatal[clarification needed] 4-way match against Nuwakote Tiger, Ash Silva, and Black Mamba for the MKW Belt & Road Championship.[11] Nuwakote Tiger emerged victorious by pinning Ash Silva while Combat was held in a cross-face by Black Mamba.[12]
Combat continued to make waves in MKW's Kingdom Rumble Match on September 7, 2019,[13] featuring alongside notable wrestlers like Peter Avalon, Zeda Zhang, and Hoho Lun before taking a second hiatus from professional wrestling.[14]
