Pharmacological properties

Ipakitin contains chitosan and calcium carbonate. They act as a phosphate binder and reduce the absorption of phosphate from the intestine. Thus, they can mimic or enhance the effects of phosphate-limited (phosphate-limited) food. There is also a decrease in the absorption of some waste products that can interfere with normal kidney function.

Through this dual action, Ipakitin supports normal kidney function.

Doses and routes of administration

Ipakitin is a food supplement for cats and dogs. Recommended admission period: up to 6 months on first use.

Animals should receive adequate amounts of water while taking the supplement.
