Thank you for the edits on the Tring Reservoirs, I cringe to look at the work I did back then! I must have started typing with only half a brain engaged.
I honor you for all of the work you have done for Wikipedia. You rock!! Bobdog54 (talk) 21:12, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
The Special Barnstar
I hereby award you this special barnstar for this edit, clearing up a factual error with a well cited, well written and timely addition to the article after a key error was pointed out in popular culture. Thank you for your diligence and quick work to make Wikipedia more reliable. Nutiketaiel (talk) 16:06, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the barnstar and for all of the work that you do around here. I just examined your list and noticed this glaring omission. —David Levy 01:06, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Thanks for your friendly response to the new editor who posted a request for help at Wikipedia talk:Citing sources. You solved her immediate problem and simultaneously gave her an example of how to format sources for the future. Wikipedia needs more people like you. 勤労バーンスター
I dropped by your user page on my way to give you a barnstar for your work with the dab project's talk pages, and I noticed that you have a Japanese katakana transliteration of "Hunter" there. I just thought I'd take the occasion to let you know that the usual transliteration would be ハンター rather than フンター. フ is technically the correct character for "Hu", but only when that's pronounced as in "who". If you feel like looking at the Japanese Wikipedia, you can verify this by looking at, say, ホリー・ハンター (Holly Hunter). Happy hunting! Dekimasuよ! 12:55, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
The Admin's Barnstar
For persistence in assuring that Wikipedia be free of partial title match lists, and for the many other substantial contributions you have made to Wikipedia over the years, I award you this barnstar. Neelix (talk) 20:59, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
The Working Man's Barnstar
You do great work. (I put the pipe in there on purpose. Hee hee.) I bow. Keeper | 76 16:06, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

There is an input field in your user Preferences (in the Signature section, down the page). You can use that to specify a unique nickname to be displayed as your signature instead of your registered account name. This field may also be used to custom design your signature with wiki markup (check the box labeled Treat the above as Wiki markup).
Whenever you sign a post with ~~~ (nickname only), or ~~~~ (includes nickname and timestamp), your new nickname or wiki-markup will be used. Bonus tip #1: ~~~~~ (timestamp only).
Bonus tip #2: To display a nickname, the software adds [[User:Name| to the beginning of the nickname, and ]] to the end. So, by entering something like Klaaus Meieer]] [[User talk:Klaaus Meieer|(talk), you can "trick" the software into adding another link at the end, in this case, to your talk page, which will look like this: Klaaus Meieer(talk).
