Template:TFAR nom
Appearance
{{{article}}}
[edit]To nominate an article, and to check how to format a TFA blurb, go to Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests and follow the instructions there. The easiest way to start a new nomination is to enter the full name of the article you are nominating in the box below (replacing ARTICLE TITLE
, and without using any brackets around the article's name), then click the button to create your nomination page.
If, however, a nomination page already exists (because the article was previously nominated for TFA unsuccessfully and you are renominating it), then:
- copy the template below;
- paste it below the old nomination;
- complete as many parameters as possible;
- click "save";
- add the nomination to WP:TFAR.
{{subst:TFAR nom
|article = Name of article, no square brackets
|image = If using an image, add its filename without the "File:" prefix
|caption = If using an image, add a brief description e.g. "John Smith"
|blurb = Up to 1,200 characters, formatted as per the TFAR instructions. The template adds a {{TFAFULL}} at the end for you
|promoted = Year or full date of when the article was promoted to FA status (check the article's talk page)
|editors = Article's primary editors / FAC nominators
|recents = Most recent similar articles, if any (see Wikipedia:Today's featured article/recent TFAs)
|reasons = Any further reasons for your nomination
}}
