Is Thandiani a gali of these Galyat?

[edit]

I haven't been to Thandiani, and I don't know whether it's in Galyat. In Encarta Atlas, Thandiani is about 15km North of Bara Gali, the North most place with Gali in its name. Waqas.usman 03:12, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thandiani, although slightly to one side, has always been counted as one of the 'Galis' even during British times. Khani100 (talk) 23:11, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Khani100[reply]

Meaning of the word Gali

[edit]
To my understanding, Gali means an alley between two mountains on both sides of which there are valleys.

Quite right, essentially. Khani100 (talk) 23:10, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Khani100[reply]

Amendments
