If this is the station that I think it is (I am not in the area), then this is a fairly old facility, and I'm guessing it originally served the M-K-T railroad given the north-south orientation. However I am almost positive that The Texas & Pacific Depot used to be the Amtrak station in Fort Worth. At any rate the Amtrak trains used to use the former T&P/then MoPac/now UP line that passed through Arlington so it would make sense those trains would've ended up at the former T&P station. At any rate it would be interesting to read more about the station(s) history, if possible. -- Gyrofrog (talk)02:48, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Intermodal Transportation Center has been constructed within the last 5 years, it was thus never used for passenger service prior to Amtrak. The former T&P station is now used by Trinity Railway Express (with condo development on the upper floors). The former AT&SF station (which was used by Amtrak until the ITC opened) has been totally refurbished and restored to its original glory, and is now used as a special events center, known as Ashton Station.RI-Bill22:06, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
