Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry (JMCIM): History, Mission, and Legacy of Founders

The Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry (JMCIM) was established on February 14, 1975, by Evangelist Pastor Honorable Wilde E. Almeda, alongside his wife, Assistant Pastor Lina C. Almeda. Originally named “The Jesus Church,” JMCIM was founded in Urduja Village, Novaliches, Quezon City, Philippines. With its roots in the Pentecostal movement, JMCIM grew rapidly, emphasizing faith, healing, and miracles. Pastor Almeda’s vision of a ministry focused on spiritual renewal and community care resonated with many, eventually expanding the church’s reach internationally.

Global Impact and Outreach

Under the Almedas’ leadership, JMCIM established branches across the Philippines and extended to Filipino communities in the Middle East, North America, and Europe. These international congregations offer worship services and community outreach, spreading JMCIM’s message of hope and renewal worldwide. Through large-scale crusades, the ministry became known for its powerful worship gatherings, fostering a sense of unity among believers across borders.

Notable Events

In December 2000, JMCIM made international headlines when 12 of its evangelists were held hostage by Abu Sayyaf, a militant group in the Philippines. In an act of courage, Pastor Wilde Almeda traveled into the conflict zone to negotiate their release, showing his commitment to his followers and reinforcing his image as a devoted spiritual leader.

The Legacy of Pastors Wilde and Lina Almeda

Pastors Wilde and Lina Almeda both dedicated their lives to JMCIM until their passing—Wilde Almeda on October 19, 2024, and Lina prior to him. They are remembered for their dedication, prayer-focused ministry, and commitment to faith. Through their leadership, JMCIM became a significant force for evangelism and charity within the Pentecostal community, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and faith that continues through the ministry’s branches and dedicated followers worldwide.[1][2]
