ASROC (Anti Submarine Rocket) Raketen bestanden hier aus einem MK 46 Jagdtorpedo und einem Raketentreibsatz, der nach abbrennen abgetrennt wurde. Der Torpedo wurde zum Eintauchen von einem Fallschirm abgebremst. Trotzdem tauchten die Torpedos so tief ein, dass ASROC in Nord und Ostsee nur bedingt einsetzbar war.
