    About the Business

Managed by Blue Bridge Hospitality, Liberty Public Market first opened in 2016 as San Diego's first 7-day a week public market located in Point Loma's historic Liberty Station. Our goal is to be the central market place of the region where locals and visitors alike can immerse themselves into the work of the best artisans around.

    Ask the Community

    • Q:

Can I bring my dog in the market in a stroller?

      A:

Absolutely. I bring my dogs all the time. My only cautionary advice is; it can get extremely crowded. I've seen little dogs stepped on by accident.

    • Q:

Is there free WiFi so I can work while enjoying a coffee and pastry?

      A:

Yes, they also have random outlets you can plug into as well.

Was recommended the Liberty Public Market by a friend and absolutely loved it!

I came here in a group on a Sunday and was so excited to see the place all lit up and decorated for Christmas time and an added bonus of smaller vendors set up around the market selling christmas goods, jewelry, and little knick knacks.

The inside of the market is well thought out and has a bit of everything for everyone to choose from.

They have food stands selling sushi, lobster rolls, ramen, pasta, wings, pizza, thai, to name a few, and a fairly large brewery/bar area.

Since I was in a group we all ordered from different stands and tried a bit of everything.

I would recommend the Alfredo pasta which is made with handmade noodles and a thick creamy Alfredo sauce. The clam chowder was delicious and filling from the Lobster place, the pad see eww has a good flavor, and the Lemonade from the popcorn place was the perfect balance of sweet/tart.

Everyone really enjoyed it here and wants to stop by on our next trip to San Diego.

The only negative things I would have to say is that finding a table to sit at especially with a larger group can take a while to find so just be prepared.

Overall it's worth a stop to try a few different food items and to shop around at the little stalls.

Liberty Public Market keeps getting better and better! There are so many great art murals around the market which makes the walk amazing.

You can walk through and shop boutiques, craft items (highly recommend the olive oil spot), and choose from so many flavorful spots for a bite.

Parking is easy and definitely is a MUST do in San Diego!

Oh Wow, Yelpie friends, this is the bestest food hall!!
Out of all the food hall I've visited, I fell in love w/this one, Liberty Public Market. My recommendations for San Diego, this place is a must visit. I just love the vibe of Liberty Public Market.

Luckily & what a nice surprise, we had plans for Vietnamese food for lunch but we just had pho the day before so thanks to Yelp, I've discovered LPM, I did a search for other eateries nearby and then the Yelp app led me here. Yay!!

Liberty Public Market opened in 2016, The market is located in the Naval Training Center, which was an active Navy base from 1923 until 1997.

Liberty Market is a popular destination in SD, enjoyed browsing and checking out the market before I made a decision on where/what to eat. I already bookmark a few biz for next visit. I was surprised to see a Reyn Spooner Las Vegas themed Aloha Shirt here, the same exact one my hubby has, hehe.

Liberty Public Market features 25+ artisanal food vendors, offers international cuisine from seafood, to Mexican, Italian and many Asian Fusion.
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens has craft beer and farm to table cuisine. Specialty food shops and few shops with local boutiques, art galleries and home decor. The Candy Warehouse has vintage candies. look for the cute mini donut shop tucked away in the back, I just loved the vibe/atmosphere here, the outdoor seating area is vibe to enjoy your meals too.

After checking out all of the food vendors, I decided on Slurp and the mini donuts was calling my name. hehe. Although there was so many selections to choose from I can't wait to visit again.

Overall, super cool place to visit, Liberty Market is a vibrant hub for us foodies, Have fun and enjoy, happy eating!

Oooh. & check out- White Rice, a fast casual Filipino eatery, which is a newest addition to public market.

We love coming to Liberty Public Market!! It's a beautiful area. The buildings are well maintained and clean.

There's lots of eateries to choose from. I believe there is about 39 within the building itself. There's more nestled around the complex.
Whether you're looking for pizza, ramen, Thai, burgers, salads, or popcorn, there's something for everyone!

Once we've eaten, we like to walk around. After snooping within the building, we like to walk outside. We head out to the water area. There's benches everywhere. It's nice to watch the water, boats, and planes take off. Bring hearing protection, it gets noisy! ;)

Overall, a great place for all walks in life. Ample free parking lot plus street parking if you choose that option. Beautiful walking path to enjoy and explore. Eateries all around. Clean bathrooms are a BONUS! Beautiful flowers all around. It's worth checking out!

It was a pleasure to visit this food hall. It is housed in a former Navy building. The surrounding area offers a variety of trendy eateries, bars, and specialty food and craft vendors. Great place to get your steps in while capturing various arts district happenings.
Wine gardens and dessert options top off the area to make it a win for my visit.

This is my 2nd visit here. It's a nice spot to check out. There are so many food vendors at this public market. Bf and I are foodies so we totally understand that the options are vast but may not be the best quality foods. We tried a few things and they were okay. Our favorite was the croissant from a pastry spot. So good!

Lots of art vendors and it gets very busy here. So many pedestrians walking. Please drive safe and share the road. We loved exploring and walking the open park space next to the water. It is beautiful. You can see the planes take off from the airport above you. It was a great spot to see while visiting but 1 and done for us. I would def recommend checking it out if you're visiting!

Love the variety here. There's something for everyone. I walked around multiple times because I just couldn't decide but I chose Thai. It was good. I'll be back to try the other places.

I love Liberty Public Market! There is something there for everyone. With open seating indoor and outdoor + a diverse selection of food choices, it makes for a delightful social outing. Parking can be a pickle during busy times (summer time and weekends). This ethnic mosaic always offers an atmosphere which is jovial and lively.
Note: if you prefer outdoor seating, be mindful that this location is under the airport's flight path so you'll be dining with those in flight

So many good options! Very busy market and can get quite crowded but the perfect spot if you don't know what to eat. They have lots of options and the stalls are cute and it's such a fun outside area as well to eat your food. Would come back!
