Thanks
Hey, thanks for your vote. You know, I'm still deeply embarassed whenever I remember that time I mistakenly assumed you were creating sockpuppets when you were, in fact, helping out at WP:ACC. Thanks again for being so gracious about it. MastCell Talk 22:37, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Happy Birthday

Disagree
Hi PeaceNT. I disagree. There is something disconcerting about complete strangers telling one they "love you". You have noticed, haven't you, that the users first contributions are posting on high profile editors pages - and mine. I'm not assuming bad faith, actions like this are confusing and disruptive - whatever their intent. Do you have any other concerns about my actions? Regards, cygnis insignis 14:24, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, you seemed to tut-tutting ;-) As you say, It's no big deal., but there is a bit of a whiff. Love is an accurate term, but a 'wikitrust' template would be less ambiguous. Peace also. cygnis insignis 15:05, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: AfD
What do you mean by substituting the "afd top" and "afd bottom" templates? I usually put them in, but should I be putting the other thing in instead? Maser (Talk!) 23:37, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Great success!
Dear PeaceNT,
Thank you for your participation in my request for adminship, which ended successfully with a final tally of (52/10/1). I was impressed by the thoughtful comments on both sides, and the RFA process in general. The extra buttons do look pretty snazzy, but I'll be careful not to overuse them. If you have advice to share or need assistance with anything, feel free to drop me a message or email. Thank you and good day!
Cordially,
— xDanielx T/C\R 07:00, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Credits - This RFA thanks was inspired by Carlosguitar's RFA thanks and LaraLove's RFA thanks, which were both inspired by The Random Editor's RFA thanks, which was in turn inspired by Phaedriel's RFA thanks.

Reese Witherspoon
Hey, good luck with trying to get Reese Witherspoon to FA. I've already got the page on my watchlist. :) Regards, Rt. 17:35, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sure thing. I'm not sure I'll be able to give until 26th though? Is that alright? Best regards, Rt. 18:21, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- You aren't required to provide the author if you don't know it (duh! xD) - for {{cite web}} technically only url and title are necessary, although from a GA/FA perspective I'd say that url, title, accessdate, and publisher are necessities, and anything else that's known is highly recommended (read: necessity!). Just at a glance, one thing that could be worked on is the ref placement in some areas; eg
- "who works as a professor of nursing at Vanderbilt University.[4][5][6]"
- "and therefore given the nickname "Little Type A" by her parents.[5][16][17]"
- "according to the survey by the film-trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.[8][82][83][84]"
- Do you really need all those sources for such facts? Generally one, maximum two, is enough refs for any fact. It just is a bit hard to read with all those numbers popping up in front of you otherwise...get my drift? Also, any possible expansion of the "Witherspoon in the media" section would be good...but I'm not sure about what to add (but then I know nothing about her). Take a look at some of the other actor-FAs - that's generally the best thing to base your work on - here. I don't know if it's a necessity or if it's common, and I didn't see this on the one actor FA I took a squiz at, but I'd have though that a section on "acting style" as described by critics would be good...I mean, we do the equivalent on music articles (Powderfinger etc.) so I dunno. Up to you, if you want to do it...otherwise, I think it's pretty close to FAC :) — Dihydrogen Monoxide (Review) 23:36, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry I haven't yet got around to giving a sort of review, but it's due to a...well...busy holiday and prior workloads on and off here. I hope you accept my apologies for not being able to give any advice on time, but I look forward to working in the future. Best regards, Rt. 13:45, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Reply to help request
Hi there, if I may ask you a favor, could you give me some help with copyediting Reese Witherspoon? The page is currently at FAC; I've done some work myself but it has been suggested that the article needs a fresh approach from an uninvolved copyeditor. Would it be possible that you take a look at the page when you have some time? Thank you. PeaceNT (talk) 09:16, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'll give it a shot. The article seems very long (60k), with some subsections like "Commercial and critical success" just going on and on and on, to the extent that one needs a reading break. I wonder if adding some sub-sub-sections might help break it up a little, perhaps milestone or period based? Copyediting the current text is particularly challenging - it is often difficult to find the base text for all the detailed ref links (can't see the forest for all the trees!). Anyway I'll try to wade my way through it and fix any rough patches I might find. --T-dot ( Talk/contribs ) 16:32, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
happy new year!
hey Peace, for all I know I may be late with this depending on your time zone, but I just thought I'd come over here to wish you a very happy new year and all the very best for 2008 (by the looks of that article, it's gonna be a good year!) Best wishes, - Zeibura (Talk) 13:12, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your support in my RfA. It was definitely a dramatic debate, that landed on WP:100! I paid close attention to everything that was said, and, where possible, I will try to incorporate the (constructive) criticism towards being a better administrator. I'm taking things slowly for now, partially because it's the holiday season and there are plenty of off-wiki distractions. :) I'm also working my way through the Wikipedia:New admin school and double-checking the relevant policies, and will gradually phase into the use of the new tools. My main goals are to help out with various backlogs, but I also fully intend to keep on writing articles, as there are several more that I definitely want to get to WP:FA status! Thanks again, and have a good New Year, --Elonka 22:01, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Regarding RPP on Post-abortion syndrome
Thanks for responding to my request. I'm just curious how long the protection has been set for? Equazcion •✗/C • 17:27, 4 Jan 2008 (UTC)
Eeek! I've only done about two edits, if there's anything else you need fixing you know where I am. Kindest regards, Rudget. 13:33, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Sure thing. Tell me if I over-do it though! :) Rudget. 13:44, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
See FAC. Oppose struck out. Comments made. All are easy fixes. One paragraph rewritten. See if you like the draft. Even if you don't, it's up to you what to put. Good luck! Congolese fufu (talk) 03:59, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Deletion
When deleting user subpages marked for deletion under U1, make sure to check that the tag was actually added by the user. The tag on User:Editorofthewiki/Sandbox was not on the page at all, it was on Template:Please leave this line alone NO!(sandbox heading), which was transcluded onto Wikipedia:Sandbox, which was transcluded onto the page. —Random832 20:13, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
TMNT table
I normally do not dispute the results of AFD, but this is one case I must object. There is no precedent I know of that would allow for a "table" article, even one put together with concept and creation information directly taken from the main TMNT franchise article. Therefore I would ask you to reconsider your decision. Thanks so much :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 21:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Burmese geo stubs
Hi mate. Have patience with the new Burmese articles. I've warned Ekyaw not to create empty pages again, but however trivial these places are they are actually make up districts of the country which often contain over 100 villages and a substantial area. Such is the undeveloped nature of the articles on wikipedia that many of the larger towns are n't even covered yet. Potentiallt these "Townships" could have over 100 articles within each one alone -but it;ll take time! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Yep I know thats why I warned him never to create an empty page again. I notified you just in case you believed the new stub wasn't acceptable again and wanted to speedy it for a second time. Regards ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:34, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Please unprotect Post-abortion syndrome
Only one vocal editor is causing problems by violating policy and will be dealt with at AN/I if need be. Consensus has been established otherwise on the talk page. I tried requesting unprotection at WP:RPP, but was told to contact the protecting admin. Thanks. Equazcion •✗/C • 20:31, 10 Jan 2008 (UTC)
