December 2009

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove Miscellany for deletion notices or comments from this page or miscellany for deletion pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gigs (talk) 20:32, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to User talk:129.24.159.242. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 06:36, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not change the format of 2009. The format it is in has been agreed to as the format for the current year. Please see WP:RY for more info. ttonyb (talk) 06:37, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to 2009, you will be blocked from editing. ttonyb (talk) 16:48, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:31, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009

[edit]

Although others have said this to you before, I'll reiterate it: Please stop changing the introduction to the 2009 article. If you have a suggestion, you may bring it up on the talk page or at Wikipedia talk:Recent years. But don't just go rearranging stuff, when such rearrangement is unwanted, without discussion and consensus, as this may be seen as disruptive editing. Cosmic Latte (talk) 09:16, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, as 2010 is not starting a week early, please do not change other articles so as to suggest that 2009 is in the past. Cosmic Latte (talk) 09:18, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been warned numerous times not to change the agreed upon introduction format for 2009 and 2010. The format is in WP:RY and has not been changed. If you continue your disruptive edits you may be tagged as a vandal. As Cosmic Latte indicated just because you suggest a change to the format, it does not make it an accepted change without discussion and consensus. ttonyb (talk) 08:02, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to 2010. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 08:20, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to 2008, you will be blocked from editing. ttonyb (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Homerjay90 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. ttonyb (talk) 16:54, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring on 2010

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2010. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:30, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Lessons learned

[edit]

Homerjay, now that your block is getting close to expiration, this is probably a good time to reflect on the block and more importantly how to avoid future blocks. I suggest you not dwell too much on the past, but I suggest you do read 2010:Homerjay and all other communications and focus on the fact that you failed to acknowledge several civil and patient attempts to communicate with you.

Wikipedia is a community of volunteers that work together to provide a quality product. If you plan to be part of the Wikipedia community, you should remember it is imperative we all work together. When there are disagreements, consensus must be achieved using user and article talk pages. Please note that when there are disagreements and consensus has not been achieved, repetitive edits are seen as disruptive and in extreme situations as vandalism. Additionally, those disruptive edits can been seen as edit warring.

I hope you come back to Wikipedia with a strong sense of community and you are able to positivity impact the quality of articles. If I can be of any help please let me know. ttonyb (talk) 04:58, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This will be the only warning you get before you start getting tagged for vandalism. I suggest you read the above section entitled "Lessons learned" and take it to heart. ttonyb (talk) 17:13, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Your name has been in mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/HomerHomerHomerHomer for evidence.
