Steve (Minecraft)
[edit]This is not general Video game importance, but importance as a character. It's a subjective thing, certainly, but it's also true that of Top-importance characters, only Pikachu, Mario, Princess Peach, Lara Croft, and Sonic the Hedgehog have more pageviews. As it is, the category feels weighted in favor of the perception of older game players, with the category having 11 1980s characters, 4 1990s, and 1 2000s character. It's true that older characters will inevitably have more time to become notable, but Steve is an extremely iconic character among younger gamers, and a character many older gamers know as well. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 21:05, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
