Thank you, @Gaismagorm. The reference for this was slightly tricky as the relevant page on the magazine's site had been superseded. Hi, it isn't at all clear that this particular product claiming to be the ultimate guide to the best schools (really, there weren't a dozen of those before...) is in any way remarkable. Even if it happens to be a reliable guide, there are many others to choose from and no reason to prioritise this one. Still less is there any reason to insert 'new' material into the lead sections of articles. The Manual of Style for lead sections makes clear that they must only contain a summary of the rest of the article; it is not acceptable to insert anything else up there. Your efforts to insert mentions of the schools index - I do hope these are not publicity or paid work, that is very seriously frowned on here! - should now cease until consensus is reached on a sensible approach; at the least, there should be an agreement at some suitable forum (Schools, perhaps) whether this is a thing worth using. Thank you for your explanation. Point about lead section is taken. I am new to Wikipedia and am learning how it works. Am amazed at how community contributions lead to objectivity of content and self-repair of articles. Reinforces my own trust in what I read on Wikipedia! I do feel this Schools Index is a an important list as it is the first to make an attempt to fill the gap of separating the best schools internationally into a separate class. I like it for this reason. As you say there are many rankings and lists of schools, and of private schools too, in the UK. This one is different in doing this for private schools globally. It is notable as it has been running for four years and got traction from media in a number of countries as well as acceptance from many of the features schools, some of which usually do not acknowledge or support any such lists.
