Is this because I changed the info box layout? I did that because it doesn't look right? I don't understand why the name is just sticking out randomly? IMissAremid (talk) 02:31, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Warning vandals
{{subst:uw-vandal1}} for an edit that called a living person a child molester? That kind of thing is worthy of as {{subst:uw-biog4im}} at best. Try to make your warnings proportional to the "offence". Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:18, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, that option didn't stand out. I will remember that as a possible option next time. Coasterlover1994 20:20, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
- No worries. I see you use Twinkle, so it might be worth the extra few clicks to scroll down the menu and find the most relevant template you can, but there are some edits that are not worthy of an assumption of good faith (including allegations of child molestation). If you come across something like that in future, it's probably worth finding an admin to delete the revision as I've done in this case. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:34, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
Reverted edit
You reverted my edit as vandalism, claiming it was not properly cited. Specifically, I added a mention of the plagiarism of the work roots to the article's first paragraph. This plagarism is discussed later in the article and is appropriately cited (citations 1 and 2). Please actually do a little research into the my edit before you call it vandalism and revert it. If I did not appropriately mention the later citation, I appologize. You could remedy this or ask me to instead of calling my edit vandalism. It was not.
- If it was already mentioned, it did not need to be mentioned earlier in the article. And please sign your articles by typing 4 tildes (~). Coasterlover1994 22:21, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
- Really? It is a mistake to mention that George Washington was the first president both in the introduction to his article, and later in the body of the article? Of course not.98.212.214.4 (talk) 22:26, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, since the fact that Washington was a president is a major part of the article. Coasterlover1994 01:50, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia and Era conventions
Hi there. Just FYI, Wikipedia allows either BC/AD or BCE/CE in articles. I noticed your single change from BC to BCE, and edit summary, in Venus (mythology). I've reverted your change for the sake of consistency – the article has used BC for some time. Please note WP:ERA in Wikipedia:Manual of Style on this matter. Your request for rollback
Hi Coasterlover1994/Archive 1. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 06:15, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Please do not revert-and-warn users that are blanking articles created by themselves where there are no significant edits by other authors, even if they are 'removing a speedy notice'. Essentially they are requesting speedy deletion by their blanking of the page, and it should not be considered vandalism. I have reverted your warning and deleted the article. Mold, Mould, Let's call the whole thing offal!
I didn't realise that 'mold' was an American spelling of the English word 'mould'. This was not an act of vandalism ... check 'My contributions' for my clean-as-a-whistle history. Going slightly off-piste ... I don't know if you're from Lancaster, New York, but I'm actually from the original Lancaster in England. Cheers, User:Solatha 7/9/10 (GMT) 00.42
- Eh, sorry about that. I admit, I made a mistake there by not checking the differences between British and American English. I'll try not to let that happen again. By the way, I do reside in Lancaster, New York, a sad place compared to the original Lancaster. I changed my settings so that you don't show up on Huggle, since a check of your contributions shows that you can be trusted. Sorry about the confusion, Coasterlover1994 03:05, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

How was my edit vandalism? I was reporting a false positive at toilet paper orientation. That article isn't suitable for inclusion in an encyclopedia, so I tagged it as such. --138.110.206.101 (talk) 23:31, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

- Ok, I was mistaken, I apologize, and I appreciate your involvement in this. Do you believe 96.37.151.176 is a vandal? He/she signed your handle, which would appear to be the act of a trouble-maker. Hi there, I just saw you delivered him a warning via Huggle because he blanked a page. In that case it was totally ok, because he was the author of this new article. Authors of recently created articles may blank the page so as to request its speedy deletion. Anyway, the article NTI Corporation is up for speedy deletion for other reasons, so it didn't matter. But please be a little careful with dealing out vandalism warnings. Regards, De728631 (talk) 19:15, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Tree (data structure) edit: Unconstructive?
I disagree with you that my edit to the article Tree (data structure) was unconstructive. I clarified the parenthetical remark, "(by convention, trees grow down, not up as they do in nature)" to "(by convention, trees grow down, not up as the plants called trees do in nature)". Perhaps you find this a little awkward (as I do) or overly precise (which I don't), but the sentence as originally written is logically weak and more awkward. Literally, it says that trees, meaning tree data structures, grow down, not up as they [tree data structures] do in nature. The logical antecedent of the pronoun "they" is tree data structures: "trees" in the same sense as it was used earlier in the sentence. In nature, tree data structures obviously do not grow at all, or even exist, since they are abstractions. Some specific identification of tree plants (the organisms with woody stems and usually green leaves that collect sunlight energy) is necessary in place of the word "they" in order to correct this literal defect. I attempted to contribute such a replacement; you rejected my contribution (but did not offer an alternative improvement).
Undoubtedly, this is a minor issue, but a high quality encyclopedia is one that pays attention to all details, not one that just avoids glaring errors and omissions. I tried to correct this glitch because it disturbed my continuity of thought and my smooth flow of reading when I came to it. In general, when I find such flaws in Wikipedia, I try to contribute quick fixes for them, as my way of contributing in return for the benefit of free use of the encyclopedia.
I have done my part in pointing out and trying to correct this error. Please either restore my edit, or make another one of your own that addresses the flaw in this sentence (or solicit someone else to do it). I would consider fully satisfactory any change that makes unambiguous, at the literal level, the fact that two completely different concepts of "tree" are being compared here. 141.158.233.114 (talk) 04:06, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I see your point. What you want to contribute is necessary to the article, but it sounds awkward (which is why I removed it). Post a message on Tree (data structure)'s discussion page that says what you want to do, and see how the community thinks it should be phrased. I apologize for any trouble, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 04:15, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- I have to agree with 141.158.233.114 in both points: the original sentence needs improvement, and you should not revert an edit which is not clearly vandalism without an edit comment stating your reasons. In fact, you have done that at least two other times today (I didn't check older contributions), here and here. It is very frustrating when someone else reverts one's edit without giving a reason, this might even turn away new contributors, so please do not do that if it isn't vandalism. Interesting reading on this topic is WP:Reverting and WP:Revert only when necessary.
- In the "Tree (data structure)"-case you shouldn't have reverted at all, since the edit didn't make the article worse. In fact, someone might have seen the new formulation and improved it, without removing information. If you find a sentence which doesn't sound good, improve it, but don't remove it only because it doesn't sound good. – Adrianwn (talk) 06:41, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Coasterlover1994, apology accepted. The talk page discussion suggestion was a good one, but no longer necessary: Adrianwn has made an alternate edit that fully satisfies my concerns, sounds not at all awkward, and is even a further improvement. I posted my comments, thanks, and a little of my relevant personal Wikipedian history (which (s)he and/or others may or not be at all interested in) on Adrianwn's talk page here
- –Stephen 141.158.233.114 (talk) 10:32, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- @Adrianwn- At the time, it appeared to be unnecessary. Huggle automatically provides a prewritten edit summary, and many administrators, such as Tide rolls, have edit summaries very similar, if not exactly the same, as mine. If you don't believe me, look for yourself. I have read WP:Reverting and follow it as policy. Hope this will help, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 22:01, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Gary Ablett
You contacted me about Gary Ablett. The information which I wrote about Mr. Ablett was written by me as I have a good knowledge of Gary's time in charge of Stockport County, as misguided as it was. It was not, and never will be, intended to be offensive to Mr. Ablett, I have a trememdous respect for him and have met him on several occasions, and I can assure anyone who is concerned that anyone who ever has the fortune to cross Gary's path will tell you that he is a top, top man with a heart of gold. However, with regards the content i wrote, it cannot be verified as such as all events unfolded without being well documented in an unbiased fashion, as the case almost always is in football. However, I can assure you that it was fact, not ficiton, and I am quite confident that Mr. Ablett would confirm that all content was the truth - for example his daily struggles at work due to a lack of funding and basic equipment; I haven't obtained much of this information from any other source but directly from Gary. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SCFC1883 (talk • contribs) 00:36, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- I reread the changes I reverted, and I remember why I changed it. Articles such as the one you edited have to conform to WP:BLP, and terminology such as "sacked" is not appropriate for any Wikipedia article, let alone a biography. Many other editors on this site would have done the same thing. I hope this will help, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 00:42, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

- I didn't think that you were. However, the edit that I reverted contained nothing but violations of WP:MOS, since another Wikipedia page should only be linked to once per article (however, infoboxes, tables, and the like are exempt). Hope this will help, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 04:24, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information, since I used to be editing in Wiki ID and this is my first time in Wikipedia English to improving some article about Indonesia. Hope, by doing this, a lot of people will know more about Indonesia. Again thanks for that.NaidNdeso (talk) 04:27, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Semi-protection?
You might want to semi-protect your userpage. That should stop the idiots who vandalise it. Access Denied(t|c|g|d|s) 22:48, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello. I just noticed that I was temp. blocked from editing, and when I checked why, it said I made edits to the Chiari Center (or something like that). I've never heard of it, and I dont remember making those edits at ALL. Any suggestions how that happened? 76.193.175.232 (talk) 16:24, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Amusement Park WikiProject
Hello Coasterlover1994. Recently, the Amusement Parks WikiProject was reformatted and revived. As part of this process other related WikiProjects (such as Disneyland, Herschend Family Entertainment, Universal Parks & Resorts and Walt Disney World) were also revived and have now become part of the Amusement Park WikiProject as task forces. If you would like to remain listed as a member on these WikiProjects please re-add your name to the appropriate lists at the participants page. All names currently on the list have been cleared. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you for your cooperation, Themeparkgc Talk 08:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC).
Vandalism??
Hi, I have received this message from you:
Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Michelangelo. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 03:56, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
As far as I know, I have not even been to this page and have certainly not even edited it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.149.105.178 (talk) 05:45, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
George Northcott
Hi received this message from you: Please do not add unsourced negative or controversial biographical material to pages, as you did with this edit to George Northcott. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 21:10, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
What exactly is negative or controversial about what I put??? I sourced it to a newspaper report. Everything I put in my edit was truthful and can be cross referenced. Helpful and constructive advice on how it could be improved would be better not just removing something about a subject you probably know next too nothing about is not the way too go about things. Anyway cant be bothered now too continue with other updates to articles I know about, ill let some other mug research it i'll get on with my life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.91.251 (talk) 21:28, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Since he isn't dead yet, it is a violation of WP:BLP to add a date of death, even if a "source" is included. Enjoy Wikipedia, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 21:31, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
EAST AND WEST PAKISTAN
This is such a waste of space on the article. East and West Pakistan are already mentioned on the "Pakistan (disambiguation)" article. Also, East and West Pakistan are also mentioned in the article itself. This incident occurred 40 years ago and it's not like current affairs for the region. --- (NapoleonARS (talk) 02:58, 29 January 2011 (UTC))
- It is relevant, as it refers to the former provinces of Pakistan. Also, if you remove it once more, it will be in violation of WP:3RR, and you will be reported. Enjoy Wikipedia, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 03:29, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

i received a message from you saying i vandalized another users page when i clearly did not. I haven't even edited anything at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harvhawk (talk • contribs) 22:48, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- You made personal attacks and replaced the content of a page with "ITS ME A MARIO". [1] How is that not vandalism?
- my little brother just admitted to me that he did that i am sorry for his actions and for wasting your time — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harvhawk (talk • contribs) 23:30, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. At least you aren't one of the many people who have threatened me over reverting their vandalism. Apology accepted. You should be off our radar within a few days. Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 00:52, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Balls
Excuse me sir, do you speak Japanese? If you did you'd know that 'Tama' (たま) does indeed translate as 'Ball' or 'Balls', and therefore is not an act of vandalism as you defined it. Please respect wikipedia's tireless quest for consistent accuracy. Do your research sir, before you point virtual fingers. Good day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BlashyrkhXander (talk • contribs) 01:00, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- "The name of the owner's wife..." was Tama. "Jewel" sounds like a name. "Balls" does not sound like a name to me. [2] I was just taking it in context. If her name really is "balls", then I was mistaken. Enjoy Wikipedia, Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 02:34, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

improper restoration of {{prod}}
template, improper warning
Anyone may contest a proposed deletion template. Restoring it is considered disruptive. Your warnings on User talk:Ohiostateeagles for removing AFD templates was inappropriate as the editor removed a {{prod}}
template which s/he is allowed to do. Your restoring it amounts to edit warring. Please be more careful. Toddst1 (talk) 01:52, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Huggle analysis?
What's a Huggle analysis? Adding that text to the top of the Calvary Chapel article wasn't particularly helpful either. Not even sure what sort of tag should be added. Also, the page has been tagged for POV in the past and it has been determined that it is neutral. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:25, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
