NS-104
Hello, I see you had something to do with the new NS highway shield images! (Aren't they great?) I'm a bit of a Wikipedia newbie, and not even much of a road geek, but I just wanted to touch base with you on their use on the Highway 104 page.
You might have noticed that I had edited the infobox on the 104 page to show the TCH and provincial shields side by side. True, unlike some jurisdictions (Québec comes prominently to mind) we don't use provinical-style shields on the NS portions of the TCH. But the 104, as you probably know, isn't entirely TCH - a significant section from Port Hawkesbury to St. Peter's is not (yet) part of the Trans-Canada, and it is signed with the provincial style shield, much like the one that was recently sitting beside the TCH shield on the article's infobox.
For that reason, I felt that the TCH shield alone wasn't telling the whole story, and that both shields were needed. On the other hand, the presence of both shields might look a little awkward, which I'm guessing might have been your rationale.
At somepoint this discussion should go back to the article's discussion page (it's pretty quiet; I'm the only one who's posted on it), but since you seem to have a pretty good bead on where these articles have been and are headed, I wanted to take it up with you first. I look forward to your feedback!

Ko/Kio
I noticed that you speak French and had to deal with User:Sarenne IEC crusade, maybe you could give a hand on the French Wikipedia on that matter, where he claim to have the 'support of the community'. Shmget 20:59, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- there is no 'formal' page to speak of at this point, just Sarenne bot-edit of any Ko/Mo out there... If he keep refuse all compromise (see fr:Discussion Utilisateur:Sarenne, and fr:Hector_2HR I may have to bring that topic to a more general audience. If/When I do I will let you know Shmget 22:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Thansk for the info. I did notice the 'parti' message. I'm a bit skeptical. He used the 'I want my user page deleted' technique on en:wiki before, but let's hope. FYI I have made a proposal on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Template with CSS proposition on the topic of 'binary' prefix to try to offer some flexibility... - Shmget 21:40, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Highland Consolidated Middle School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GreenJoe 22:53, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:CKEC.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:CKEC.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 03:25, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:TheNews-ng.png
Thanks for uploading Image:TheNews-ng.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:46, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Great work
So, it's a Highland boy at NRHS? Who watches the DS, and has a Mac? Very Hipster...not indiv at all, really. Great work supporting WP anyways! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.222.40.87 (talk • contribs)
To clarify, I chose not to use Aliant as they charge high prices for low speeds. Hoping this clears things up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.222.40.87 (talk)

Oh really?
It's too fun, this. I find it creepy that you'd wish to know more about me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.222.40.87 (talk)
Username
Thank you for your concerns regarding bluetooth954, I have decided not to contest this since I'm here to enjoy editing not for fight for keeping this name. I use this in other environments and decided to use it here. I have created a new user name blue954 and will not access this one again. Don't know how to remove this user name with the administrators so if you wish to delete it go ahead.

Fair-Use tag GTA IV image
It was the Information template that threw me, its so similar to the Non-free use rationale one in appearance. When I made the edit this morning it was one of those moments where you know something doesn't look quite right but you can't put your finger on it. - X201 (talk) 15:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

refactoring
You are quite right to have removed it. Of course, I had no idea of what the user was speaking or I may have removed it myself. Cheers! DoubleBlue (Talk) 10:16, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Bell Aliant logo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Bell Aliant logo.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:19, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
