If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Template:Election box invalid requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2011_January_10#Template:Election_dual-member_end. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. – Jonesey95 (talk) 23:27, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Cypp0847. I am just letting you know that I deleted Category:List of reportedly haunted locations in Hong Kong, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which didn't fit the page in question. Thank you. PhantomSteve/talk¦contribs\ 11:33, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:New Power Party logo.svg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:New Power Party logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:23, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am actually quite shocked to know that the article I have written in Chinese Wikipedia has been translated to here by paid OKA translators. As the original article that I have written is FA in Chinese Wikipedia, I want to know whether it is possible for the English translation here to gain FA or GA status in English Wikipedia. Sanmosa Outdia 04:55, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sanmosa: Good to see you on enwiki. I fear it is more challenging to qualify as GA/FA for a translated article, especially if it lacks sufficient and credible English references. I am unable to comment on this issue as an expert, but I think if it had been discovered by you earlier, perhaps a WP:DYK would have worked out. ~~ J. Dann 15:18, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK I get it. Sanmosa Outdia 23:34, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are also the Straits Settlements 1874 flag, the Red Ensign and Governor's flag of the Straits Settlements, and a 1:2 ratio variant of the St Kitts and Nevis flag that need to be produced. There are also the coat of arms from the 1948 Governor's flag of the Falkland Islands and the 1952 Penang flag that need to be modified. 反共抗獨光復民國 (talk) 03:13, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
