Speedy deletion declined: The Manchester Mirror

[edit]

Hello Meszzy2, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of The Manchester Mirror, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 cannot be applied to print products, also is part of another notable newspaper and claims coverage in reliable source. If you are interested in learning more about how speedy deletion works, I have compiled a list of helpful pages at User:SoWhy/SDA. You can of course also contact me if you have questions. Thank you. SoWhy 07:29, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@SoWhy: Cheers mate. That was a sloppy job on my part - don't know how I missed the link in there and didn't make the connection between the Manchester Mirror and the Mirror. Staying up way too late. Thanks a bunch. :) Meszzy2 (talk) 07:45, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Huda El Mufti

[edit]

I added many references to the article Alanwrick1 (talk) 00:07, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Alanwrick1 Thanks, you can remove the BLPPROD tag Meszzy2 (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done, thanks. Alanwrick1 (talk) 00:13, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Eloisa Marchesoni

[edit]

I may refer to your proposed deletion of the Eloisa Marchesoni, since yesterday the page has been scammed by user 37.163.229.71. Moreover, refering to the Dawn article, the word trader has been only used to explain her history/past experience. She has numerous articles showing great Notability and fulfiling WP:GNG.

I have also added more reliable sources to the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dictations (talkcontribs) 07:33, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Dictations The only proper reliable secondary sources I see in the article only provide a trivial mention of her for the purposes of the quote, and are not providing coverage of herself. The two I saw that do provide coverage of the subject were a medium post and an advertisement for a podcast - so I believe the article does not meet our notability guidelines. You are of course free at any time to remove the PROD tag if you think otherwise - but I'd ask that you explain with more detail your reasoning before we end up in AfD. Meszzy2 (talk) 07:47, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for being so helpful and caring!
Yes, i have removed some references which might create ambiguity for the viewers.
Anyhow, I will recheck and will do some more research and will try to addup more reliable sources!
Thanks again! Dictations (talk) 07:53, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note re: Removing G12

[edit]

Hello! I noticed that you recently removed a G12 tag from Draft:Sukhpal Singh Gill. The removal was correct—the draft no longer met the criteria at the time you removed the tag. As a heads up for the future, there's usually a little more to do in these cases—namely purging the copyright violations from the page's history.

When there are versions of the article that contained substantial copyright violations that have been subsequently removed, the versions that had copyright violations should generally be revision deleted under criterion RD1 (Blatant violations of the copyright policy). In order to tag these versions for revision deletion, feel free to use the {{Copyvio-revdel}} template in order to flag specific revisions for deletion. If you'd like a GUI tool to make it easier to label exact revisions that you would like to delete, also feel free to install the cv-revdel usescript located at User:Enterprisey/cv-revdel.

Happy editing! — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:32, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Red-tailed hawk Oh yeah I usually do request a rev delete — but this one must've slipped through me somehow, sorry about that! But I didn't know about the script so thank you for that! Will be nice as when there's a bunch of ranges doing it manually is a real pain sometimes.. Meszzy2 (talk) 06:00, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
