Vandalism! WTF!

[edit]

I placed a descent picture in the article does that called vandalism! Don’t take advantage of your ranking and start to abuse people!!!!!

No point in arguing with the guy. He did the same thing to me. Lame. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.118.208.164 (talk) 02:55, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

VGProj Category Edits

[edit]

Hi! Just wanted to let you know I've taken notice of your edits so far concerning articles and categories about international game companies on the recent edits page and that its appreciated. I'm not a member of the VG project but its a topic of interest for me and its great to see somebody working on it. Keep up the great work and welcome! :) Shallon Michaels (talk) 17:40, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

VG companies of Scotland

[edit]

why do you keep deleting this category?Andrew22k (talk) 17:28, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the category is too small to be pertinent. Besides, there is already Category:Software companies of Scotland (and Category:Video game companies of the United Kingdom). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 17:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

9 articles isn't small i suggest the United Kingdom category be split into 4 different categories.Andrew22k (talk) 14:59, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good idea! I'll split the category then. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 16:01, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Zelda OoT Edit

[edit]

Okay, I appreciate what you are trying to do but I think the game makes it clear that Ganon goes inside the Dark Realm. Take a look at the quote from the citation" Zelda: Thanks to you, Ganondorf has been sealed inside the Evil Realm! Also, it's supported by the Zelda Wiki. Plus, it really doesn't make sense that Ganon goes inside the "Sacred" realm; that sounds more like he went to some sort of a paradise. The game plot is that the sacred ream becomes as the heart of the one controlling the triforce. Since Ganon's heart is dark, it became the dark realm (some versions say evil realm, I suppose both are correct). I realize that this is a very small detail but since Wikipedia must have something on it, it might as well present the correct information. Feel free to talk further on this. Category split

[edit]

Hi, I notice the above discussion, and would suggest that Category:Video game companies of the United Kingdom should not be split as it doesn't contain nearly enough entries to justify this. WP:CAT gives an example figure of 200 articles for splitting a category, and when there are only nine for Scotland and one for Wales there's nothing to be gained from the change. I believe the nationality of these companies should also be taken into consideration, which British or UK, rather than English, Scottish or Welsh. Cheres, Miremare 18:48, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree too but you should discuss this with User:Andrew22k as he disagrees (see #VG companies of Scotland). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 22:16, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you agree, it may be advisable to seek some concensus at WP:CFD or WT:VG rather than continue to change articles to the individual categories on the strength of one user's opinion. Cheers, Miremare 19:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of The Cheetahmen

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Cheetahmen, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Your recategorization of several categories

[edit]

Why have you recategorized several categories including Category:Digital Illusions CE games, Category:Paradox Interactive games and Category:Starbreeze Studios games? If you don't have a very, very good reason I intend to revert your potentially unconstructive edits. Next time, please provide an edit summary. Thank you. --MrStalker (talk) 14:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I recategorized these article to Category:Video games developed in Sweden because I think the categories were too small (each had only about 4-10 articles). The parent category is now more populated this way. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 14:01, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
With all respect, I think that's a stupid reason. There's no minimum limit how many articles an category should hold as long as it is several. The articles will still be in the parent category via its sub-categories. I intend to revert your edits (when I have time). --MrStalker (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When moving articles, like you did in the Zelda CD-I games article.

[edit]

When moving pages, please remember to fix any double redirects. These can create slow, unpleasant experiences for the reader, waste server resources, and make the navigational structure of the site confusing. Thank you. Magiciandude (talk) 04:16, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

warnings

[edit]

Please don't give me warnings. As an admin and editor since January 2006, I'm well aware of how Wikipedia works. Had you not been so quick on the trigger with warning me, you would see that what you reverted was actually a consensus merge and redirect of the article. So I'll ask you to pay more attention next time, and not to disrupt Wikipedia by giving meaningless warnings and reverting consensus decisions. SWATJester Son of the Defender 07:44, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stop

[edit]

Let me be very clear: do not revert the merger and redirect at Talk:The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords. This is the consensus decision of the article's editors as developed on the talk page. If you continue to revert this change, you may be blocked for disruptive editing. SWATJester Son of the Defender 07:45, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've warned you twice now to stop. I've blocked you for 24 hours. You do not make reverts like that without discussion on the talk page, especially after you've been told to stop. SWATJester Son of the Defender 07:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated.

What the? It's crazy. I didn't do anything "quickly", I looked at the guidelines. I didn't revert anything. Judgesurreal777 blanked a talk page because the article was merged; I believe talk pages should not be blanked so I restored that talk page. Why do you say I went against a consensus merge? I didn't revert the merging of the article. My edit was on the talk page, not the article. I never edited that article. Please explain what I did wrong, because I don't see it. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 07:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Let me explain it to you. Gary King proposed that the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords article be merged with the main The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past article since there was not enough information to differentiate the two. The merger was approved, and the page was redirected. The talk page was also redirected, which involves blanking all of the content except for a redirect tag. However, you've continually reverted that, which creates a situation where the article's talk page is in a different place than the article itself. I asked you to stop multiple times, and to note that this was a consensus decision on the talk page, and yet you continued to revert that. That's acting too quickly. Had you looked, you would have seen that we were not BLANKING the page, but we were REDIRECTING the page. When you merge an article you must merge its talk page also. SWATJester Son of the Defender 07:55, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem unblocking you, if you can realize what it is that you were doing wrong, and can promise not to do it again. There ARE situation where it is ok to remove content on a talk page; redirecting is one of them. What is NOT ok is to edit war with people without discussion, and then leave them warnings, all without actually looking to see what you are doing. SWATJester Son of the Defender 07:56, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I will stop doing it if it's an uncorrect practice. I simply didn't know it, and the lack of an edit summary and explanation confused me. There was only one small section on the talk page, but sometimes talk pages can be pretty long and I thought that they should be keeped for historical purpose. But if the common practice is to blank them, I'm okay with it. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:02, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think this practice should be stated more clearly in the guidelines though. Perhaps this paragraph should be deleted in Wikipedia:Merge#Performing the merger:
"Also remember that almost all article pages have a talk page. To avoid losing quick access to that historical discussion, a link to the source page's talk-page should be placed at the top of the destination's talk-page, such as:
Article merged: See old talk-page here"
Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:05, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's not for the page that is being redirected FROM, but for the page that is being redirected TO. You would put that stuff at the top of the page that is going to be the NEW page. In any event, I've unblocked you. My suggestion would be to wait until you are more familiar with Wikipedia before messing about with redirects and mergers. SWATJester Son of the Defender 08:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but the problem is why put a link to the redirected article's talk page if that talk page has been blanked/redirected like the article? In our example, the link would be "See old talk-page here" but it wouldn't work. (Please note that I just ask about a clarification about this paragraph; I am not arguing or trying to annoy you.) Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:19, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because when you click that link, at the top of the page, it will say "(Redirected from Talk:The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords)" and when you click that second link, it bypasses the redirect and takes you to the original page. You can then view the history with the history tab, and see everything before the redirect. The other reason is that people who go directly to the Link to the Past page, will not know there is another article redirected to it, so when they see that link at the top, they know they can view the history from the other page. SWATJester Son of the Defender 08:39, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
PS, I'm going to sleep for the night, but if you have any questions leave them on my talk page. If for some reason you are still unable to edit (likely caught in an autoblock), please use the unblock template and someone will be around to unblock you shortly. SWATJester Son of the Defender 08:40, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:41, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jennifer Capriati Tennis (The Tennis Tournament: Grandslam)

[edit]

I reverted your edit, it is a Telenet game also. But the article should probably renamed to Jennifer Capriati Tennis. Game release data. Govvy (talk) 09:42, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think these companies listed are the publishers, not the developers. It's written "Developer: System Sacom" above Release datae on the same page. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 09:46, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know, I did write it, but Telenet is one of the publishers know, that's why I put it in that category. Govvy (talk) 09:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I intended the category to only encompass games developed by Telenet, so that it can be categorized in a bigger category, "Video games developed in Japan" (Telenet has published some games that were developed in America). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 09:55, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I assumed the category would be both developed and published games by Telenet. Govvy (talk) 10:14, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've put a description on the category page so it's clearer. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 10:18, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i have never edited that page before. please check page history. also, a wiki admin reverted an edit removing said links in the ogame page for vandalism. check back about 2 months i think it was. also the discussion about the ogame page needs to be in the ogame discussion page.Anubis1055 (talk) 15:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

External links: I originally had many of those links as citations back in 2006 and 2007 when I wrote most of the article that you now see, but they were removed because it constituted a game guide. I read the rules for external linking, and the links weren't intended to promote any site, but provide more information about the game. I can attempt to incorporate those links when expanding the article, but I'm afraid no mods or admins seem interested in topical aspects of the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.129.80.89 (talk) 19:58, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dragon Warrior III edits

[edit]

You said "sorry but these numbers reflect the date stated in the "accessdate" parameter; don't change them without changing the date (or vice versa) after you changed the scores of the review table I created. I put the scores exactly how they are represented by their individual sites; what did you mean by your edit? Chiefmartinez (talk) 03:30, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The score on GameSpot is determined (partly) by the scores given by users, and the one on GameRanking is an average calculated from various scores from other websites, so this means that they change with time. That's why there is an "accessdate" parameter in the Template:Cite web used in the refs. The GameSpot and GameRanking scores that currently appear in the table are those that were shown on these sites on accessdate=2008-04-11. The scores shown later (like today) can be different so if you want to update them please change the accessdate parameter too. It's just a technical stuff (but it's so that we don't have to update the information everyday). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 11:10, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I see your point; I changed the scores without updating the accessdate. I just updated the article now so it reflects the current date and the game's current scores as of April 14, 2008. Chiefmartinez (talk) 01:42, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Category:Sega games en masse

[edit]

Time out! You are removing the category "Sega games" en masse from many sega articles, with little or no explanation. If you infact take issue with the category first discuss. If consensus still can't be reached you may want to take your concerns regarding the category to wp:Categories for discussion. Simply deciding the category shouldn't be there and removing it en masse is not the way to go about this. Thanks. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 15:38, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The category is perfectly fine. I am simply replacing it with Category:Sega Technical Institute games, Category:Overworks games, Category:Sega Studio USA games, Category:Sonic Team games, Category:WOW Entertainment games, etc., when appropriate. This is because the Sega category is already categorized by these categories (same goes for Category:Video games developed in Japan or Category:Video games developed in the United States). I am not deleting the Sega category; it is still reachable via category links and is still ultimately there grouping all these articles together via subcategories. Cheers. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 15:43, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits here [1] and here [2] - you've clearly removed the category altogether. You state "redundant category" when removing the category on that first edit, maybe you can explain this a little better, as you have also not been putting any information in your edit summaries. If the game is in fact a "sega game" why would it not reside on a top level category for such criteria? AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 15:54, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from reverting my edits until we are at an understanding, thanks. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 15:56, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sega Studio USA (for instance) is a division of Sega; so when an article is categorized in Category:Sega Studio USA games, the Category:Sega games is implied both by logic and via the categorization of Category:Sega Studio USA games (click on the link, Sega games is a subcategory of Sega Studio USA games). This is a normal convention on Wikipedia, nothing controversial about it. For instance, Golden Gate Bridge is categorized in Category:Bridges in California, but not directly in Category:Bridges in the United States, since the former is included in the latter.
(edit conflict) And sorry about reverting your change quickly. I just thought it was cleared up. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 16:00, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I think I've got it now. So the List of Sega games would serve the additional purpose of listing sega games on a top-level? Hopefully you can see why I reacted, considering the lack of an edit summary and the frequency of the edits made. It appeared that you were simply removing categories. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well I guess this is an example of why edit summaries are so important :) I will try to make more explicite edit summaries from now on. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 16:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Thanks for clearing that all up. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:31, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Why did you do this: [3]. All the user did was organize the platforms. I'm pretty sure there is no set way to list the platforms. The previous version was fine, but his edit was fine as well. Seeing as there is no set way, why did you undo the edit? RobJ1981 (talk) 20:37, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All his edits are motivated by a non-neutral point of view, as he has edited all these articles to have PlayStation 2 listed before the other consoles in the infoboxes. You're right, it technically doesn't change much, but I'm pretty sure this qualifies as disruptive behaviour (like replacing British English spelling with American English or vice versa, or replacing cover art images of a country by the cover art of another country). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 20:46, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I understand. I was just curious. Thanks for answering. RobJ1981 (talk) 04:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did a major overhaul of Realtime Worlds and in my investigations, there was no mobile phone version of Mobile Forces, and it was just about finished as Rage Software was folding. I'm not quite sure if Realtime Worlds took up the reigns or if it was still released as Rage Software. But I really haven't been able to find much in the ways of accessable reliable sources tying RTW to Mobile Forces, except that most of the staff from Rage went over to RTW. Thoughts? xenocidic (talk) 20:09, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, I haven't actually searched... But if there's no reliable source stating RTW worked on Mobile Forces, I guess it would be best to remove the name from the game's infobox. Moreover, even if the RTW staff had moved to Rage Software, the game would still officially have been released as a Rage Software game, not RTW. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 20:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's kindof what I was thinking as well. All signs point to the game releasing under Rage Software even though they were in the process of folding. Thanks for your input. xenocidic (talk) 20:25, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Over-specific Dance Dance Revolution categories

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --AeronPrometheus (talk) 12:47, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the case of the categories, segregating the regional releases of DDR games was far too specific to matter. The total list of articles put together are still less than a single page in the parent category. They were simply unneeded. --AeronPrometheus (talk) 19:25, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you make mistakes here don't worry about it, anything can be undone. Judging from the rest of your talk page a lot of stuff you did was viewed as disruptive though. The best thing to do is go to the Village Pump to ask questions, or the talk page of the Video games WikiProject and ask what people need help with. There's no law that says you need to know every rule and policy by heart in order to start contributing to Wikipedia, but just in case thumb through the Policy and Guidelines so that what you do in the future isn't mistaken for vandalism or bad edits. If you have a specific question abut anything feel free to ask me, I'll do my best to help out. Take care --AeronPrometheus (talk) 21:51, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sega Studio USA games revision needed

[edit]

Hello, I'm the user who wrote the Sega Studio USA article. I noticed you recently created an article that's called "Sega Studio USA games" Where you listed the games developed by that division. However, some of the games you listed are inaccurate. For example, Sonic Adventure should be changed to Sonic Adventure International. The original Sonic Adventure was developed in Japan, while Sonic Team US worked for 9 months on the international version. Also, Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 were only supervised by them. At the top of the page it says " Games developed by Sega Studio USA.......etc... " But since Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 are pretty much Sega Studio USA type games, you should at least write at the top of the page " Games developed or Supervised by Sega Studio USA......etc. " Thanks for your time :) --S200048 (talk) 17:04, 8 May 2008 (UTC)s200048[reply]

The website that you got Ankh The Tales of Mystery cover art.jpg from had the wrong title. That is obvious by the conflicting information on Ankh: The Tales of Mystery. Please don't call good faith edits vandalism. The user clearly isn't trying to harm the article in putting the UK box art. I don't have a problem anymore with the NA box art anymore, but for future reference, vandalism can only be described as "editing an article with the purpose of damaging it." - A Link to the Past (talk) 19:55, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding image width

The standing consensus is to use 256px width for images in video game infoboxes. Off-World Interceptor Article Content

[edit]

The article's deletion of content seems to be due to its style of writing and content. A lot of the content in the original article was provided for thoroughness and simply to provide adequate detail; I do not feel that leaving the article in its current form provides enough information about the game to the reader. Admittedly, ultra-specific information that was originally in the article (such as vehicle costs and specific weapon per car) do fall somewhat under the heading of a "game guide", though that was not my intention. I would like to have most of the content in the article reinstated, but hopefully under a more conformable writing style and generalize certain aspects of the article to improve the article's flow (naturally, other edits and information will be added in the future -- a version difference section seems imperative to the article, since many people confuse Off-World Interceptor with Off-World Interceptor Extreme.) On a side note, the box art provided is of the wrong version of the game, since the original 3DO version came out in 1994, while the Sega Saturn and PlayStation versions (aka; "Extreme" versions) came out in or after 1995.

Please discuss this with me; I'm very reasonable and would love to work on the article and have its quality improved. G.Ballblue (talk) 15:33, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yoshi

[edit]

If you want this imagfe, YOU can propose it. You don't get to replace the old image that was already there just "because". Only one other page uses the image from Brawl as its primary image, and it's for a character whose last appearance was in the early 90's. Why should Yoshi be the one single page to use Brawl's image over the series image of Yoshi? And why should we use an image that makes it difficult to distinguish one of his significant qualities, namely the "saddle" on his back? You're demanding a less common iteration of Yoshi, made by someone unaffiliated with the Yoshi series, in a game unaffiliated with the Yoshi series, made by a third party developer, depicting him in a form unlike what he usually is, only showing the front, instead of the image that was already there that is opposite all of that, and for good reason? The image you propose simply is not a GOOD image, because it is in spite of his series. If you said "so what" to that same point on Mario, or Luke Skywalker, or Lennie Briscoe, you'd be laughed off of the talk page, because anyone will tell you that replacing a primary image with an image from a non-primary source is NOT appropriate, and the fact of the matter is that nothing of what you've said is a reason to replace it. Being 3D is not a good reason, being the most recent is not a good reason, and being alone in the picture is not a good reason. The logical image is "an image that tells the reader what the character looks like in his series", not in SOME OTHER SERIES. Yoshi's design is consistent throughout the Yoshi series, while the Smash series changes his appearance with every single game. Using the Brawl image is, like I said, like using the Anakin model from Clone Wars because it's the most recent model, in spite of it looking very different and being in 3D. Why isn't "the most recent image" a good argument for Anakin, but it is for Yoshi, and why shouldn't we show how Yoshi is typically shown in his series, but it's ideal to show people what Yoshi looks like in a single game? - A Link to the Past (talk) 22:20, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phantasy Star and Vandalism

[edit]

You might want to check the rationale for an edit before you revert and cry vandalism. Not only was my edit NOT vandalism, but I have been near single-handedly responsible for the dramatic improvement of the articles across the Phantasy Star series. Try not to be so hasty. Thanks. Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium Revert War

[edit]

Please stop senselessly reverting my edit on the above mentioned page. The rationale for the change of image was simple. For the sake of consistency across the PS articles, and because this is the English language Wikipedia, we will use the English language boxes. If you need further elaboration on why this is the case, see the old debate about the character naming conventions for this same article. I am going to revert your edit once more, after which time I will seek administrative intervention, since you are not offering any reason whatsoever for your edits. Godheval (talk) 14:10, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Huh, seems I'm not the only person that has a problem with your edit-only never-talk way of doing things. Against my own nature I've resisted the urge to use epithets like the fellow below, so I'd appreciate it if you'd follow procedure and discuss the edits, rather than repeating the revert war you've (we've) already been warned against. After looking into it some more, I realize now why you're so insistent on the EU cover - because you uploaded it. Understandable, and as I said on the talk page for PS4, I am willing to accept the EU cover if you can provide a better quality version. At the very least, state your case on the talk page, rather than just editing and reverting and undoing and on and on... Thanks. —GodhevalT C W 17:37, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. SashaNein (talk) 16:10, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your moving of Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack

[edit]

You edited all of the Boktai pages to change the official English name of the third game, Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack, to the Japanese title. It appears that you were under the misconception that that this name was fanmade, but Lunar Knights refers to the game as "Boktai 3", while the Kojima Productions webpage proclaimed in English "Sabata's Counterattack" when the game was released. While I appreciate your enthusiasm to help the Boktai pages, in this case your edits were misplaced. Please do not try to change them back or anything like that, not that I think you would. Orphaned Media

[edit]

Hi Megata Sanshiro. Let me start by thanking you for your contribution to SimAnimals. It was definitely time to replace the logo with the full box art. However, I would have rather you had gone to the logo page and clicked "Upload a new version" so as not to have 2 images meant for the same purpose. Also, in uploading a new file to a different destination, you have caused the media to become orphaned. In the future, just simply replace the old image rather than creating a full new file page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Resident Evil 4.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Resident Evil 4.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:17, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I remember seeing you move Densetsu no Quiz Ouketteisen to The Legend of the Quiz Tournament of Champions, because of the official English name seen on the official website as well as the box art, but recently, New Age Retro Hippie (a.k.a. A Link to the Past) moved it back, because "Fan translations are no-no." But it's not a fan translation. Parrothead1983 (talk) 03:53, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:2006 FIFA World Cup.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

VG cover uploads

[edit]

Megata, good work on uploading covers in the VG space. I've uploaded quite a few covers myself, some from tothegame, but mine look a lot closer to the source images than yours do. What editor do you use? Are you sharpening the images?

Take a look at File:Cryostatis Sleep of Reason.jpg for example. The current upload is mine, compare that with your older upload, and to the source. My version has a closer colour and contrast match to the original and generally looks cleaner. I've done a quick test with some other images you've uploaded too, with similar results. I use a simple, bare bolts jpeg editor - BetterJpeg. - hahnchen 19:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I don't see any difference in colour and contrast in my upload of Cryostatis, though I do see that it's sharper. Maybe it's too sharp? I use image resizing with a sharp bicubic resampling in Photoshop. I guess I'll resize with bilinear or simple bicubic resampling from now on. I didn't see much difference but it can depend on the monitor too. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 10:15, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyan Worlds

[edit]

I'm still not sure why you're removing the template on the grounds that it's not on topic. Cyan Worlds built the entire Myst franchise; it's practically the only set of games they have. I added Cyan into the template since they're the company who made the games (similarly to how the Legend of Zelda template has a link to Nintendo) so now it's at least somewhat connected. I should also remind you that your removal was reverted by one other user as well. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:12, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Kingdom Hearts coded

[edit]

It's on my list to do this week. But to be honest, with the game's limited Japanese-only release, I'm not confident the article can be properly improved; not having the game to actually play makes it difficult to write the "Gameplay" and "Plot" sections. If you happen to have any sources not already in the article, they would be appreciated. (Guyinblack25 talk 23:49, 7 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

The guideline says to use the first available IMAGE. Yes the actual game came out a little earlier in PAL regions, but the first English language boxart released was the North American one. If you disagree, bring it up at WT:VG and let me know. Do not revert just because you disagree and interpret the guidelines differently (although I don't know how since it seems clear to me). Yes, the OR was in the forms of "The game features a cel-shaded art style similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass", "Action-adventure" and "will be the fifteenth installment". We can't assume these details, no matter how obvious they may be seem to be. Haipa Doragon (talkcontributions) 16:31, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How are these reliable sources for such information? This is all information that should be cited by primary sources (i.e. from Nintendo), not third-party sites such as these. GS's and IGN's notability only extends to their criticism of games. They have no verifiable technical prowess in video games and therefore cannot make any more skilled judgements as to what games are, as opposed to what the critic thinks of them, than an average person. George of the Jungle image

[edit]

Something bothering you? I can't imagine that you really thought I was vandalizing the page by uploading an image that matched the article and game title.  æron phone home  19:42, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One, there are no references at all that even hint to a European release, alternate title or otherwise. Two, I uploaded a larger, clearer image that matched the title of the article and all cited mentions of the game. It didn't help that the other image had terrible color contrast either. Replacing the image in this case didn't violate the guideline you keep shoving in my, and apparently other peoples', faces. I have improved the article by improving the image and avoiding confusion that may cause readers to go "Where did 'Search for the Secret' come from?". Doing this is fine, not a breach of protocol, not a personal offense to the media you upload, and certainly not vandalism (In reverse, it IS vandalism to pull down changes done to improve the article). Maybe you can devote all that energy to finding sources for the information you keep reinserting into the article? Or better yet, evolve it beyond a token stub?  æron phone home  13:51, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A couple of times on Wii Sports Resort you've changed the release dates around, putting them out of chronological order. I thought this was a bit odd and first, but then I realised the problem. The game is released in Japan in June, not July like the rest. This means it, of course, should come before the others. But being two months which look desperately alike, I totally understand you're confusion! Dancter has put the dates back in chronological order now, but I thought I'd just give you a heads-up as to where the issue lay! Greg Tyler (tc) 15:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just a shout, nobody's had a problem with that game being listed under the SE project (originally the FF project) for well over a year now, it's in the same category as Chrono Resurrection. PresN's point with Dragoon X Omega II was that it was a straight up hack never commercially released in any form, and one that doesn't seem to assert notability.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 09:11, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dragon Quest V Box Art

[edit]

I was wondering, I understand the rule now thanks to you pointing it out, and you were the one that posted it. I see other people have tried to post this up as the NA box art, and tried a war with you. I was wondering, is there any way you would consider changing the picture. I know the rules are that first one in English is the one that should remain, but was wondering if you would consider changing it yourself. My only argument on any of this would be that the NA box art is used in all of the other Dragon Warrior/Quest games info boxes when available. Changing this European one to the North American would make this page consistent with many of the other Dragon Quest games. If you do not want to do this, I understand, just thought I would try and ask you rather than join in with the others that are fighting you. Thank you for your time. Article Guidelines Change

[edit]

Where can I read the discussion on removing Romanization of English-language titles and the resulting change to the article guidelines? Thanks Lumaga (talk) 18:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here : [5] Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't that just apply to English words (in titles, too)? I see you've removed quite a few romanizations for names, and some of them aren't clearly English names... Erigu (talk) 00:05, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed some romanizations that were the same as the first title stated, for instance Ōkami (大神, Ōkami). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I saw that, but that's not what I'm talking about. Erigu (talk) 08:50, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh? Megata Sanshiro (talk) 08:52, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I thought that was clear enough. ^^;
Anyway, things like this. "Mateus" isn't a plain English word, isn't part of the Japanese title, and isn't in the intro.
Or this. Who said anything about German? Erigu (talk) 08:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is currently a discussion at WP:VG so let's see what people say. I have the same opinion as Ham Pastrami. As for Einhänder, the introduction says that "The name Einhänder is German for "single-handed", a reference to a sword, here used to refer to the single manipulator arm possessed by the player's spacecraft." Megata Sanshiro (talk) 09:02, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That new bit of guideline you've added and then referenced with almost each of your recent edits is specific: "Romanization of English-language titles used in Japan should not be included." And the discussion that resulted in that addition to the guidelines was about article intros.
You went way overboard in most instances, there. Erigu (talk) 09:14, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If I may jump in, many of the changes you recently made, such as this one, bolded the Japanese title, which is against MOS:BOLDTITLE. Continuing to use that example, shouldn't Zelda no Densetsu be Zeruda no Densetsu? And shouldn't it be organized to say "...known in Japan as JAPANESE (RŌMAJI, lit. "TRANSLATION")? Like this:
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, known in Japan as ゼルダの伝説 ふしぎのぼうし (Zelda no Densetsu: Fushigi no Bōshi, lit. "The Legend of Zelda: The Mysterious Hat")
Just curious. -sesuPRIME 19:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This might be of interest. According to it, it should be Zelda no Densetsu: Fushigi no Bōshi (ゼルダの伝説 ふしぎのぼうし, Zeruda no Densetsu Fushigi no Bōshi, lit. "The Legend of Zelda: The Mysterious Hat").

Chinese names

[edit]

Hiya. I note you've been adding the Chinese translation of games developed in China. I'm not quite sure what the guidelines are about this, as you seem to be adding it to games that were developed in China, but that wasn't their intended market. As a result, I've brought it up on WT:VG, feel free to chip in. Thanks! Fin© 14:29, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the Groove PC cover

[edit]

Do not call the use of images other than the ones you've personally uploaded or prefer vandalism. The PS2 cover is being used over the PC cover because it is cleaner (contains fewer objects obstructing the cover image). According to WikiProject Video Games the less of that the better. Bayonetta box art

[edit]

Hello. I changed the box art image to the "obvious photoshop" (and while I didn't like that revert summary, I won't cry about it) because all the other boxart (minus the Japanese) is the same except for the ratings and console banners, and because I could not find the image you uploaded (at that resolution or higher) at any of Sega's websites. (The current summary says "Promotional image from Sega's official website."). If it's from an obscure page I didn't see, or from Sega's PressVault or a blog that got it indirectly, it should probably state as such.

I think you should also discuss this at the talk pages of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (a featured article) and Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo (a candidate for the same)—they both use edited game covers (though without blanking the rating like I did) for generality. --an odd name 23:16, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Please see WP:VGIMAGES. Cropping the cover arts is okay but actually editing the elements of the image is not recommended by the guidelines. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 11:38, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. I still can't find the PEGI-rated image in that size on any Sega website (I can't access PressVault, at least yet), and it seems that GameSpot would be a more reliable source for those images (even if it is Sega's cover). Would you object if I used the GameSpot M-rated one, but without the blanked rating mark (at least until an exact URL is given for the other one)?
(In the short term, I don't see a big concern. However, if a strict admin decides they want to delete the cover art, or if the plot gets expanded enough and I thus decide the article covers the game broadly enough for a good article nomination, real concerns might be raised over the image's source. I also think the game has received lots of coverage and interest, and I successfully nominated the article to appear on Did You Know on Halloween this year, so it should be solidly-sourced in all aspects. Do you agree?) --an odd name 15:40, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I can't find it either, but you should probably ask Nemeses9 since he is the one who uploaded the image (not me). Megata Sanshiro (talk) 15:47, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Another concern I had (sorry I didn't mention it earlier) was that the other image displays an 18+ PEGI rating even though the PEGI site gave no such result for Bayo until a little while ago (one never appeared until I checked it today, even though it was rated on May 27 this year, so it was probably cloaked by Sega). I felt if the cover must display a rating, that it should have one confirmed by the raters or an outside source. I still think it's better to use one sourced by a third party like mine (with an unblanked rating this time), so I'll place mine back regardless of whether the other one gets a specific URL—feel free to revert again. --an odd name 16:17, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Listing for Synetic

[edit]

Good Morning

I would like to discuss the disambiguation of Synetic with you. I am aware of 3 "Synetic"s, two of which are on Wikipedia.

One of course is Synetic GmbH which you appear to watch closely

The second is Synetic Theater (Arlington Virginia) which I monitor

Then there is also a Synetic Inc in Canada which produces data storage devices.

If you do a Google search on "Synetic", Synetic GmbH does not show up until the third page. Even in the "Synetic" article on Wikipedia, the first line is "Synetic GmbH is a German video game company"

May I understand your objection renaming the article "Synetic GmbH" which is more accurate and will assist with disambiguation?

Chrono Trigger reference on Heroes

[edit]

I don't know why you keep reverting this article. The first time you did it, I looked at this talk page with such a long, dirty history of pissing other people off because you edit so many pages without full knowledge of either the topic or the context of the edits and then you have revert wars. You have been blocked before. This talk page made me think that you're one of those people who just run around Wikipedia just to mess with people. You make several edits every day. But now, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Is there a reasoning behind this or are you just that kind of guy? You make some odd claim about the edit being old trivia about a character's season one blog. I don't see a link to that blog anywhere but in your editing reason and this "old trivia" as you call it was inserted shortly after the episode in question aired on the same night by someone else.--TigerNightmare (talk) 11:03, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I note your speedy G4 nomination of a number of the above. While you are correct that these categories were subject to deletion in a decision from 2008, you are probably not aware of Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2009_September_3#Revisit_-_Category:Fictional_characters_by_origin which decided that they should be kept. While this contradicts the earlier decision, it reflects a changing consensus. As a result these categories are ineligible for speedy deletion. If you have any concerns over this particular categorisation then your best course of action is to raise the issue at a full Cfd.

Lightning

[edit]

Not to prod you about it, but I think the article might be best on a user sub page...we've got no reception information at the moment, and it is rather bare bones in that light (we don't really know how she'll be received one way or another either). What do you think?--Kung Fu Man (talk) 14:07, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well there's no reception because I got bored and didn't try to write it, but I'm sure a short paragraph could be written even now. Even without it, I think the article is notable enough. There's more creation information than in Squall Leonhart. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 12:38, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well that's not surprising given how sparse Square is about the character creation info for some games. Still it needs third party reception to stand by itself.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:40, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to merge it in Final Fantasy XIII then, and good luck! Megata Sanshiro (talk) 09:57, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
(out) I don't see any need to merge it, most of the other recent protagonists also have their own articles, and there does appear to be lots of development info here. Even if it's merged now, I imagine it would have to be split back out once the game is released and reception info starts rolling in. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 21:23, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I searched for reception information and I actually can't find much, contrary to what I said earlier. Megata Sanshiro (talk) 21:25, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, keep it up as a stub or something. If reception data is that critical, then just remove that section (same for merchandise) until the game (and merchandise) actually comes out. Besides, if you were going to merge this into characters of FFXIII, then you'd have to merge (as an example): Sephiroth, Cloud Strife, and everyone else from that game into Characters of FFVII -- for inter-game consistency, you understand. So unless you want a massive headache of merging and redirecting, just leave Lightning as it is. MechaUltimaZero (talk) 14:13, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. The game will be out soon in Japan, so it should be improved by new year's.Fractyl (talk) 14:39, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No offense to anyone, but aren't the keep votes pretty much WP:CRYSTAL? "It's not out yet, but she should get good reception. Maybe. Hopefully. Yeah..." Awhile back I thought Dampierre would get a ton of reception, and instead he's pretty much the most overlooked character from the Soulcalibur series. So there's no guarantee that just because the game hits in Japan that we'll see a slew of reception folks.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 14:47, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Silence! I concur. It should be merged until we get the proper reception information. I totally think it will and would bet my left thumb on it, but that's just me; until I can bet my left thumb on it, there's no way of knowing and it's all speculation. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 18:28, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And please tell me no one said that "if you merge this, every FF character must be merged!" That simply doesn't fly, no more than if any other article were up for merging/deletion/etc. and it had many other more notable articles that were similar. The most important thing to have is reception - you can talk all day about how much Square has talked about it, and at the end of the day it'll look like a nice article and be pretty informative, but without some critical reception from third parties, it's not really going anywhere. I've said it before, but an article with a few paragraphs of reception and no creation info is better than the reverse option. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 18:35, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I say keep. Why does getting good reception as opposed to any reception warrant an article? The article has significant "concept and creation" information, which is easily the biggest factor of WP:N for video game characters. Tezero (talk) 15:57, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious, and really not trying to come across here as "KILL IT!" but this was a silly statement when you think about it. Nobody's saying it needs "good" reception only, they're saying that it needs *any* reception. There's no third party coverage of the character to satisfy notability, and creation information, sadly, doesn't really satisfy that...--Kung Fu Man (talk) 17:42, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As the game is now at Japan, this merge issue should be negated as the page will soon be filled up.Fractyl (talk) 03:42, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That is not really a reason to negate the merge, as there is still very little of worth out there in English right now (http://news.google.co.uk/news/search?aq=f&um=1&cf=all&ned=uk&hl=en&q=lightning+final+fantasy+XIII) which is what matters most here. I don't imagine the Japanese release is likely to provide substantial or reliable references for the English wikipedia. I guess I support a merge, but the act will be unproductive anyway since it will just about inevitably be recreated and improved, given the "hallelujah they're worthy of own article" trend from all FF protagonists since 7 (even Vaan, miserably enough). So merge, but off the record you "might as well" leave it alone. --Monere (talk) 14:23, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I say best leave the article alone, unless no one wishes to improve that article after 10 March 2010, 1 day after the US and EU versions of Final Fantasy XIII are released, you can put that merge notice. For now you can just put a "article improvment" notice and then we'll see how. Kyrios320 (talk) 15:50, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting changes

[edit]

Excuse me, but why are you changing back some of the cover edits I made? When the opportunity allows, I take the image from the Wikipedia page and do a little cleanup to make the cover look more appealing, such as the one with Mirror's Edge and Shadow of Chernobyl. The more region-neutral a cover is, the better. --F Zero QQQ GX (talk) 14:55, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GH: Aerosmith cover

[edit]

I know the guideline says that the cover of first release should be used but consider these facts: 1) the difference between the US date and the EU data is 3 days. For video games that is effectively the same as simultaneous release. The point of using the date is more the case that if there is a large gap (weeks or more) between one english region and another. 2) Aerosmith is a US band. The game was designed by US developers. Because the EU/US releases are effectively the same, the US version of the game should be used to reflect the nature of this. --MASEM (t) 15:31, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request for mediation of Video games developed in Japan, second notice

[edit]

The mediation request has stalled because some of the lesser-involved parties did not answer to the note they received on their talk page. I have notified users jgp and Ost316 again, who both are the most likely to be interested in participating, though mediation cannot commence until all parties agree.

If you have no objections to going into mediation even without the users that have not signed up so far, please leave a short indication of your agreement in this section at the request page. Thank you. Prime Blue (talk) 11:48, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

only time we put them on if thevoice actor has given a certain ammount of reception towards them and th fictional role they played. For example, Sora has an image of haley jole osment because he has been given reception. Another thing is they are NOT part of creation and concept. the voice actor doesn't technically make the character.Bread Ninja (talk) 11:40, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hiroyuki Itō

[edit]

Hiroyuki_Ito

I removed the Kingdom Hearts credits from his page as that's a different Hiroyuki Itou. That's a Hiroyuki Itou who previously worked for Jupiter where he made Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and The World Ends With You. He then joined Square Enix and has since worked on two Kingdom Hearts games while at the company released in 2008 and 2010. He is not the same Hiroyuki Itou as this wikipedia page is dedicated to.

A tag has been placed on Template:Professional Baseball Spirits requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it must be substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Ost (talk) 17:28, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A friendly question

[edit]

Hi, i was reading the Final Fantasy Tactics article and saw that you contributed a lot, so I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to be good at writing articles in Wikipedia. This is because I'm currently in a proyect to improve articles in the wikipedia of my country (Mexico).

Also, I saw that you have uploaded several images of videogames and I was wondering: what must I do in order to upload copyrighted images? Who and how do I ask for permission or do I just upload the image?

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Rayman 3.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

File:Rayman_3_Box_Art.png is a more accurate depiction of the box-art for the game and fully replaces this image.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:NARC (video game box art).jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:NARC (video game box art).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Category:Jupiter (company) games indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 23:34, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
