If I had the time, I'd make a user box about my strong conviction that periods and commas go inside quotation marks even when they are not part of the title.
For example.
Evil == My favorite book is "Absurdistan".
Good == My favorite book is "Absurdistan."
Evil == As I read "Absurdistan", my foot fell asleep.
Good == As I read "Absurdistan," my foot fell asleep.
I realize that there are different usages from place to place, but to my mind, Wikipedia's Manual of Style is just plain wrong and idiotic. However, I now have to redo several edits I did before seeing the Manual.
- Moment of my life most easily adapted to the Screen:
Around five years ago, I got an email from the editors of The Melic Review telling me that my poem On Golden Bush was to be included in their anthology! When I got my copy of the anthology (for which I paid) my poem was not there. So my daughter and I proceeded to kick the anthology to pieces across my girlfriend's Mexican Tile floor.
- I just got a Pentax K100D for my birthday and am slowly learning how to use a real camera.
- I originally created a username for the sole purpose of arguing against the deletion of the entry for Israelisms. Then I started editing cuz it's something that plays into my ADD.
