Introduction
[edit]Shartis Musherure Kuteesa is an upcoming Uganda politician and the MP elect for Mawogola North Constituency. Mawogola North is located in the Semababule District (Central Uganda). Her political victory followed a highly contested race between her and President Yoweri Museveni's brother[1] who opted out of the race citing family pressure.
She is a daughter to the Sam Kutesa, a veteran politician with strong ties to the ruling National Resistance Movement.
Education
[edit]Shartis has a degree in Law from Cornell University in New York.
Work Experience
[edit]Shartis made a mark as the Managing Director of Mbabule FM 101.1.[2]
