1. To help make Wikipedia better in clarity. This mostly means fixing links, spelling and grammar, and deleting arbitrary POV adjectives that really don't need to be there.

2. I strongly disapprove of the implied emphatic 'only', e.g., "only in 1967, during the so-called "Summer of Love", was slavery finally banned on Manhattan Island". Whenever possible I will quickly edit out any instances I see that make me feel like puking.

3. Whenever I see 'to the tune of' in a Wikipedia article, especially but not limited to describing unusually large numbers ( "....to the tune of fifty dollars" ) I will make it disappear, for no reason at all, with a bland Edit Summary that gives no clues about any obsessive behaviors.

4. Someday I may submit an article about something when it's ready for prime time.
