This is a list of extreme weather records in Pakistan, a list of highest temperatures ever recorded,lowest temperatures ever recorded, heaviest rainfalls recorded in 24 hours.The highest tempreture ever recorded in pakistan is 53.5°C which was recorded in Mohenjo-daro, Sindh on 26th of May, 2010 it was not only the hottest temperature ever recorded in pakisatn but the hottest reliably measured temperature ever recorded in the continent of Asia.[1][2] The highest rainfall of 620 mm was recorded in Islamabad during 24 hours on 24th July, 2001. The record breaking rainfall was recorded in 10 hours. It was the heaviest rainfall in Islamabad in the past 100 years.[3][4]

The standard measuring conditions for temperature are 1.2 meters above the ground, and not in the direct sunlight (hence the term, x degrees "in the shade")

Record breaking extreme heat observed in the plain areas of south Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan between 22nd to 27th May, 2010. Previous extreme heat wave conditions were observed in 1998 and 2002.
