Became fed up with Wikipedian nonsense after authoring over 500 articles including GAs and an FA. Currently thriving at IMDb, an organized, information-friendly project. I'm happy to see that the bigots are proving the biased, subjective nature of the user-created guidelines by deleting my work now. I'd have done it myself before leaving, but I was never interested in trolling/POV-warring, only in contributing sourced, objective information. Each red link you see below represents a well-sourced article on a film recognized by the main Pink Film awards ceremony. These were targeted for deletion by openly biased editors who create and contribute to totally unsourced articles on obscure, far less notable U.S. subjects such as unreviewed paperback short story anthologies. Western scholarship-- but not Wikipedia-- now recognizes the Pink film as a major Japanese film genre indispensable to a discussion of Japanese cinema. Academy-award winner Yōjirō Takita and Sōjirō Motoki (producer of many of Akira Kurosawa's classic films) are just two of the notable film personnel who have worked in this genre, now effectively banned from Wikipedia by a few bigoted, puritanical, and culturally myopic editors. Because there is no editorial oversight here, and the lunatics are running the asylum-- rather than just submitting data for professionals to review and accept or decline-- this is exactly how Wikipedia has been set up to work. So, trolls: Stay here and continue creating bias to your myopic little hearts' content; but anyone interested in actually helping create an objective source of information: Don't waste your time at Wikipedia.
Currently contributing information on Japanese & Korean films to IMDb, rather than arguing their subjective 'notability' with bigots Wikipedia: .
For your excellent work on Japanese erotic cinema articles, writing and expanding a difficult area of the Wikipedia, in its finest traditions. Every one written with care, effort, grace and style. AnonEMouse(squeak) 13:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
ThePorn Star
I thought you should be the first to be presented with this new award, due to your outstanding work on Japanese adult film stars, a difficult subject if ever there was one. Looking forward to seeing you back here full-time soon. Videmus OmniaTalk 21:22, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Hopping in Hip Fashion
Dekkappai, you get this bad-ass award for hiply hopping up from your absurd state of "retirement" and doing great work on Domon Ken, an article I'd lazily forgotten. Hoary (talk) 02:04, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
The Korean Barnstar
Nice job with the many Korean film stubs you've been creating, and worthy of a barnstar I think. Now all you have to do is take that "semi-retired" tag off your user page and all will be right with the wiki-world. PC78 (talk) 11:26, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
For stepping up when no one else would or could and muscling through six decades and two languages worth of information, which pales in comparison to the amount of content you've created—not to mention filmographies and those things aren't easy—I, with such power vested in me, do solemnly swear, to hereby award you, this circled fan award. Doctor Sunshine (talk) 01:00, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
The Socratic Barnstar
"The Socratic Barnstar is awarded to those editors who are extremely skilled and eloquent in their arguments."
This barnstar is awarded to Dekkappai, for his elegant argument:
"All editors should have as their primary purpose here the addition of content and the improvement that which is already there. We should not be here only to slap other editor's hands, delete things, quote home-made rules, and play Wikicop."
The Defender of the Wiki may be awarded to those who have gone above and beyond to prevent Wikipedia from being used for fraudulent purposes.
For your efforts in sourcing and saving articles, despite intense resistance, this barnstar is awarded to User:Dekkappai. Ikip 00:06, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
