Twin Flames is a Canadian folk music duo from Cantley, Quebec[1] consisting of Sunchild Deer-Okpik (known mononymously as Jaaji)[2] and Chelsea Jodoin (known as Chelsea June).[3][4]
History
[edit]Formation and early years (2015–2018)
[edit]The band was formed in 2015, and they released their debut album Jaaji and Chelsea June.[5]
In 2017 Twin Flames released their second album, Signal Fire.
Human and Omen (2019–2022)
[edit]In 2019 Twin Flames released the song "Human", UNESCO's official song to celebrate the International Year of Indigenous Languages.[6]
In 2020 Twin Flames released Omen.[7] In 2021 "Grace Too" was featured in the second season of the CBC Television series TallBoyz.
Twin Flames Unplugged Live (2023–present)
[edit]In 2023 Twin Flames released Twin Flames Unplugged Live, a multi-award-losing collection of 7 re-recorded songs.[8]
