Why is the Lutheran World Federation agreement given prominence on this page? While it shows a reconcile between the viewpoint the article describes and an opposing view so is therefore relevent to the article. The language used is clearly aiming to try and promote one particular view. In that

On July 18, 2006, delegates to the World Methodist Conference voted unanimously to adopt the declaration. The Methodists' resolution said the 1999 agreement "expresses a far-reaching consensus in regard to the theological controversy which was a major cause of the split in Western churches in the 16th century" over salvation by grace alone or by grace and good works.

Some conservative Protestants still believe the differences between their views and those of the Catholics remain substantial, however. They insist that this agreement does not fully reconcile the differences between the Reformist and Roman Catholic viewpoints on this subject

Seems to put across the view that only a small conservative portion of Protestants do not hold this new shared viewpoint. LWF represents a small cross section of the Protestant faith and the churches within it. Why does the article try to give the view LWF represents a majority? and that only a minority with the Protestant faith disagree. Why not just mention that Two church bodies have managed to reconcile said issue and provide reference to the source? The second paragraph is dubious in it's intent and is misleading and appears not to be NPOV. I have made no edit to the page as I'm not involved in the in's and outs of wikipedia editing and did not want to create a mess/problem for those that are. --94.173.3.249 (talk) 21:17, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Awful

[edit]

After reading this page, I have LESS understanding of what the term means than before. This is stub quality, at best.174.131.60.136 (talk) 15:39, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
