Why is this tagged for Notability?

[edit]

Why is this marked for notability? Sixteen people died! It has been covered for years and it is listed in Japan's worst massacres. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fulmard (talkcontribs) 08:52, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also there is a Japanese page https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%A4%A7%E9%98%AA%E5%80%8B%E5%AE%A4%E3%83%93%E3%83%87%E3%82%AA%E5%BA%97%E6%94%BE%E7%81%AB%E4%BA%8B%E4%BB%B6 and Chinese page https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008%E5%B9%B4%E5%A4%A7%E9%98%AA%E5%BD%B1%E7%89%87%E8%A7%86%E5%90%AC%E5%AE%A4%E7%BA%B5%E7%81%AB%E4%BA%8B%E4%BB%B6 can they be linked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fulmard (talkcontribs) 08:56, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Variations (ENGVAR)

[edit]

I noticed two formats being used - American in the title "theater" and "theatre" in prose. Also United States dollars are quoted from one source, whereas another uses Yen, and date format has to be considered for consistency.

I queried at the author's Talk (User talk:Fulmard#Inconsistencies) who confirms writing from a non-American slant. Gene93k has already renamed to use lower case, and I'm sure others are watching. I've not encountered a situation like this, so unsure how to address the variations.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 18:01, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fine by me.--Rocknrollmancer (talk)
