1965 ATCC - "the first track win, anywhere in the world, for the Ford Mustang"
[edit]I have removed the above from the article as it would appear to be incorrect. With reference to the Mustang in question, Stewart Wilson tells us that "By the time of the championship race in April, Beechey had already logged several victories and lots of sorting laps and was ready to go. His notable wins had already included the South Australian Touring Car Championship at Mallala on Easter Monday....." DNFs
[edit]Are DNFs worthy of significant annotation? --Falcadore (talk) 08:17, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- I opted to add the DNFs because their inclusion creates a better overview of Beechey’s career than would their omission. GTHO (talk) 02:26, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
