I removed the mention of a licensing agreement between FN and Colt to produce a copy of the Model 1905/1906 FN Pocket Pistol because no such agreement existed or was needed. Legally binding production and marketing agreements already existed between Colt and FN as regards designs created by John Browning negating the need for Colt to obtain a license. Under this agreement FN could not initially produce or market this pistol, or any Browning pistol design, legally within North America, Great Britain, Ireland, etc. prior to a later edit in the agreement allowing for the same so long as Colt was compensated (I provided one reference with my edit, but there are many more if anybody wants to see them)

Even worse, both the Browning 1905/1906 'Baby' model and the actual Baby Browning pistol are included in this same page without clear differentiation between the two models despite the fact that they are two completely different designs. I have inherited a Browning Cal.6m/m35 made in Belgium pistol. It was part of a gun collection my dad's aunt had. Being her namesake I was given the pistol by my dad. I would love some info on my new acquisition please. It seems to be chrome with marble like grips and a gold trigger. On the left side is the name, Browning Arms Company with Made in Belguim underneath. It has a "C"in front of trigger and 341816 and S underneath to the back of trigger. On the right side in front of trigger are some symbols and symbols under the front of pistol next where bullet exits the gun. It has two slides to front of grips. One on the left locks pistol. The opening on slide has scroll symbols and the writting CAL 6 m/m 35. Can anyone tell me about my pistol? Thank You Hddixiegrl (talk) 19:12, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
