Conservative stance

[edit]

User:Eleemosynary recently "removed cheerleading" (heh!) by deleting part of the first sentence, shown here in italics:

Daniel Henninger is Deputy Editorial Page Director of the Wall Street Journal, which is one of the most important voices of conservative opinion in the United States.

Unfortunately, we don't say anything about DH's politics anywhere else in the article, so I added the following sentence at the end of the lede:

Like all the Journal's editorial page staff, he generally takes conservative stances on politics.

I'd just like to say that I think my sentence is quite sucky, and invite other editors to improve it. Cheers, CWC(talk) 05:26, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this citation needed tag sat around for years and years. I've removed it. – S. Rich (talk) 21:20, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
