Ideas for Revising

[edit]
  1. The main thing I intend to add it the differences between digital media writing and academic writing under the section "Issues: quality". I plan to extend the differences in both good ways and bad ways and provide a few examples from my sources.
  2. Under section "issues", I also plan to add a section under issue to discuss digital media addiction. Because of the features digital content, users might get addicted to digital media and have negative effects. Moreover, in the era of digital media, people are "pushed" to become social media users in order to stay updated with the family and friends. I plan to discuss how this problem is influencing our life style and writing habits.
  3. For the issue “metadata”, I plan to discuss AI and its content creation based on metadata. As chatgpt has been developed, more AI platform will be involved in the world of writing and change our writing habits. Even though it hasn't become a main trend, but I want to discuss a few possibilities AI could bring to writing.
  4. For the issue “intellectual property”, I plan to further discuss social media ethics and how identity or culture factors could influence our digital creation.

Pointlessly vague page

[edit]

We need to recognize this term doesn't really mean anything and can at best be described through its usage. The two first sentences of the intro could just as well be a definition of the word "communication". imo this page probably shouldn't exist, topic is both way too broad and too vague 149.154.205.114 (talk) 16:36, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
