Where exactly is Narungombe located?

[edit]

Re. the citations [1], [2], Ruangwa District, [3] and [4] Narungombe is located 40 miles west of Kilwa (in German East Africa). I therefore think that all these Portuguese flags must be removed for they do nothing else but create confusion, since Narugombe is located in the Kilwa District. Furthermore, the coordinates will have to be corrected. With kindest regards! --Aristo Class (talk) 13:51, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Portugal's involvement in the battle

[edit]

As per citation [1] it seems that Portugal was not at all involved, at least in this battle. Therefore, the first phrase ...The Battle of Narungombe was fought between the German Empire and Portugal during the East African Campaign of World War I.... seems that it will have to be rephrased to: The Battle of Narungombe was fought between the German and British Empires during the East African Campaign of World War I.
