ATM7029 contains ARM Cortex-A5 cores, not A9.

[edit]

The changes made by anonymous user 88.78.241.106 on 29 June 2014 changes the Cortex ARM core specification of the ATM7029 from Cortex-A5 to Cortex-A9. However, Actions has been widely exposed as having practiced misleading advertising for the ATM7029 because the chip does in fact contain lower-performing Cortex-A5 cores. Actions even made attempts to conceal this in their OS software. On their website, Actions specifies the ATM7029 with an ARM Cortex A9-family CPU (not simply Cortex A9), which is a euphemism for the fact that it in fact does not have a Cortex-A9 but a Cortex-A5.[1] [2] See also Talk:ARM_Cortex-A9_MPCore.
