Nominator's rationale: Overly specific diffusions of a category that doesn't need them. Category:LGBT culture in New York City is not large enough to require separate subcategories for the minority of topics that are lesbian-specific or gay-specific rather than being common to both -- the LGBT WikiProject has a consensus to keep categories like this at the LGBT level rather than diffusing them into separate subcategories for each of the "quadrants". Comment - perhaps Bearcat could link to the consensus discussion by WikiProject LGBT studies. At the moment there are also subcategories by US state (though not many). Nominator's rationale: Category is narrow and currently has only one article. Based on the text of the article John Foulds, it seems unlikely that any of his other works are sufficiently notable to warrant individual articles of their own, so this category will probably remain nearly empty. Keep - Firstly, why nominate just the Asia category and not the other subcats of Category:Regions by continent and country, which were created by the same user? 'comment - it would be fine if they were indeed regions of asia, they are in actual fact regions of the countries in Asia - not the larger region. Perhaps there is something in the way of reading - the ambiguity as to whether the category is referring to regions of asia, or regions of countries - I do not think is adequately clarified in the title as it is - perhaps the whole tree has the problem where the region name comes first, then the country - and whether the subject is clearly indicated as being in the country and not the region...
