Summary

[edit]

Just a test of a possible bug in SVG text rendering

This renders the following SVG code:

<svg
   xmlns:svg="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"
   xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"
   width="150"
   height="150"
>
 <text x="0" y="150" id="textelement">
  <tspan id="outer" style="fill:blue;stroke:none;">
   ABC
   <tspan id="inner" style="fill:red;stroke:none;">
    DEF
   </tspan>
   GHI
  </tspan>
 </text>
</svg>

The red string "DEF" should appear between the blue "ABC" and "GHI" strings, but instead the mediawiki renderer places it after them. Other renderers (including Firefox, Inkscape, and "Eye of GNOME", render it as intended. See bug discussion at commons [1]. Fut.Perf. 09:46, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

English: Note, Opera renders this SVG file correctly but wikimedia's svg renderer does not. See wikimedia bugzilla:17174. See the original File:Test tspan.svg uploaded January 2009 and File:Test tspan uploaded 20100613.svg re-uploaded June 2010 to check if svg rendering is still broken.
