Possible subcategories

[edit]

Looking at all the articles I can see a couple possible subcategories that could be implemented by those more knowledgeable than I: Category:Ophthalmological afflictions, Category:Ophthalmological treatments. --Hooperbloob 06:17, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. Maybe. Looking at the article titles, it looks like most of them deal with various ophthalmological conditions. There are a few that deal with treatments, but just about as many deal with ophthalmological equipment (slit lamp, goggles, etc) and some deal with tests that ophthalmologists might use (electroretinogram, for instance). For the time being, I am fine leaving things the way they are, but if it grows too much more (i.e. gets a second page) then I would probably add subcats - if somebody doesn't beat me to it.
I think Category:Eye should be left to articles that deal with the anatomy of the eye and associated structures. --Barista | a/k/a マイケル | T/C 23:20, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I would agree with Barista, I've moved Meibomian gland, Chalazion and Uveitis accordingly. David Rubentalk 00:51, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

OK, now we have almost 200 articles, I think we can reconsider migrating some of them to subcategories. Category:Ophthalmological equipment ?--Hooperbloob 03:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
