Also, the crew chiefs of the #13 and #16 cars, Andrew Dickeson and Travis Mack, have switched cars for this race so SVG will be crew chiefed by Travis Mack and AJ Allmendinger in the #16 car will be crew chiefed by Andrew Dickeson in this race: https://www.jayski.com/nascar-cup-series/2024-bank-of-america-roval-400-at-charlotte-motor-speedway-entry-list/ undo

It makes sense as multiple drivers will share the #16 & nobody had previously been announced to drive that car in all 7 of SVG's races & now Trackhouse doesn't need to field a 3rd car in those races: jayski.com/2024/02/01/shane-van-gisbergen-to-drive-seven-races-in-the-no-16-for-kaulig-racing undo

Derek Kraus, who was going to drive the #10 car this weekend at Kansas, will now drive the #11 car. Interestingly, Kaulig has not switched crew chiefs Yontz & Trinchere's cars as part of this move: tobychristie.com/2023/09/06/daniel-hemric-to-finish-2023-xfinity-season-in-no-10-for-kaulig-racing undo Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

2 August 2023

  • curprev 17:3717:37, 2 August 2023 Cavanaughs talk contribs 1,856 bytes 0 Chastain is back with Kaulig and will replace Allmendinger (who is on the entry list: jayski.com/xfinity-series/2023-michigan-nxs-entry-list) in their #10 car (which he previously drove full-time in 2020) this weekend at Michigan: twitter.com/KauligRacing/status/1686716594313924608 I'm guessing this change was made so that AJ can run next week's race at the Indy Road Course. This would've been his 5th start of 2023 and last race he could run this year due to the limit for Cup drivers. undo

It'll be exciting to see how he does! He's got to be one of the favorites to win: https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2023/06/20/kaulig-racing-adds-justin-marks-to-xfinity-series-lineup/ undo

It isn't related to the race team- it's only something Matt Kaulig sponsors/another one of his business ventures. An example of another business venture of another NASCAR owner is Rick Hendrick with all the car dealerships he owns (Hendrick Automotive Group/HendrickCars.com) on the Hendrick Motorsports template, for example. undo
  • curprev 19:3119:31, 15 January 2023 Cavanaughs talk contribs 1,545 bytes +46 The number of Kaulig's part-time third Cup Series car will more than likely be the #13 as the team tweeted an image of the number in their number font and MBM Motorsports uses the #13 in the Xfinity Series: https://twitter.com/KauligRacing/status/1612846775458488322 undo
