Hearse

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Ihcoyc (talk | contribs) at 16:54, 26 February 2003 ("casket" should be -coffin-). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

A Hearse is a funeral vehicle, a conveyance for the coffin from a church to a cemetery or a similar burial site.

The name is supposed coming from the Anglo-Saxon word harrow.
