Wikinews has three regions within the American supercontinent:

• Central America
• North America
• South America

Avoid using the term America for the United States when writing in Wikinews's voice, as that usage subtly induces a US-centric perspective; using the more specific name for the country in Wikinews's voice quietly encourages a more international perspective.
