Miyan Lalo is a jute leaf soup made commonly eaten by Hausa people of northern Nigeria. It is similar to the ewedu soup eaten amongst the Yoruba people.
Ingredients

- 2 teaspoon stock cube
- ½ cup chile pepper
- 1 big onion, chopped
- 2 bunches lalo (jute) leaves, chopped
- 1 small piece of kanwa (potash)
- 2 medium pieces of daddawa (fermented locust bean), pounded
