- (reflexive) to hurry; to move quickly, to do something quickly
- Om du inte skyndar dig till bussen så kommer du missa den.
- If you don't hurry to the bus you'll miss it.
- (rare) to hurry to do something; to do something as soon as possible
- Skynda att ta ut bullarna ur ugnen!
- Hurry to take the buns out of the oven!
- (with "till") to (quickly) approach someone in order to offer help or assistance
