[edit]Largely limited to the informal language, except in some cases where this word was incorporated into proper names (Pengawas Gendut "The Fat Controller, a character from Thomas & Friends", or Karl yang Gendut "Charles the Fat"). Otherwise replaced by the word gemuk.
