The main objective of ejournals is to gather and effectively disseminate high-quality scientific content across various fields of knowledge. Our strategic goal is to create the most important platform in Poland and a significant one globally for presenting and promoting scientific content.
We achieve these goals through our proprietary JMS application, extensive international collaboration, article indexing in national and international scientific databases, active distribution of online journals, and a strategy to enhance the position of ejournals and the journals published here in both the domestic and international markets. We place particular emphasis on ensuring the high quality of the journals presented, which implement international standards.
The goal of ejournals is also to support Polish researchers and provide editorial teams with professional assistance in continuously improving their quality and maintaining high global standards. By implementing international standards and best practices for scientific publishing, along with modern tools for presenting journal content online, we aim to enhance the effectiveness of applying to scientific databases, increase citation counts, facilitate data migration in scientific databases, and build better online visibility. We assist editorial teams in their efforts to enhance the prestige of their journals through scientific information activities.
ejournals, the Scientific Journals Online, is one of the most important places in Poland and a globally recognized platform for the presentation and dissemination of scientific journals.
Since the beginning of 2014, there have been over 32,000,000 downloads of files containing articles and scientific publications. More than 17% of the visits come from international readers (outside of Poland) from 163 countries around the world, with the largest number coming from the USA, Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, India, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
The portal currently supports and presents the full content of over 110 periodicals and journals published electronically in collaboration with various scientific institutions across Poland. This collaboration includes universities (e.g., Jagiellonian University, University of Gdańsk – University of Gdańsk Publishing, Cracow University of Technology, Collegium Civitas, University of the National Education Commission in Kraków), scientific institutions (e.g., the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences), government and public entities, as well as nationwide scientific societies.
We are open to collaboration with the owners and editors of scientific journals published by all domestic and foreign entities, particularly universities, public institutions, societies, and scientific foundations.
Each journal is indexed in the most important databases that correspond to its current level, subject matter, and standards.
We also provide assistance and support in meeting the criteria and applying to the most important international scientific databases, including Web of Science, Scopus, DOAJ, ERIH+, PubMed, and others.
All scientific articles are efficiently searched and indexed by Google search engines and academic search engines, including Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar.
The ejournals portal has an extensive international contact database, encompassing scientific databases, international university publishers, libraries, and scientific institutions.
The scientific articles in the journals published on the Portal are initially reviewed by two independent reviewers from external scientific institutions unrelated to the author.
Each journal has its independent scientific board, clear guidelines for submitting and evaluating articles, and applicable ethical standards.
Each journal featured on the portal has its own individualized, autonomous website, which serves as the main place for presenting scientific content in both the original and English versions. Electronic versions of the journals are available on the portal.
The format of content presentation complies with international editorial standards and the criteria set by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The ejournals portal is a modern and unique technological solution. Its core element is an innovative content management system specifically designed and built for us. It is based on the latest IT solutions and global standards adopted for the presentation of scientific journal content. It offers extensive possibilities for creating personalized websites and effectively disseminating scientific content (both paid and free, depending on the journal's editorial expectations).
eJournals also facilitates the downloading and exporting of metadata and scientific content for both individual users and international databases.
It features many modern tools that support editorial work and make it easier for researchers to access its resources. The most important include: a system for managing editorial tasks, a system for managing and exporting bibliographic data, a metadata creation and export system, an advanced content search engine (including one dedicated to a specific journal), as well as connections to social media platforms. Journal editors can choose the tools they wish to use.
The modern IT framework is complemented by a second, parallel content management system built upon the classic OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform. Thanks to this, the portal provides the most optimal and comprehensive IT solution for the presentation, internationalization, and dissemination of scientific content available in Poland.
Those interested in collaborating with the portal are invited to contact us.
The basis for cooperation and the inclusion of journals on the portal is the signing of an agreement. Each journal collaborating with us is assigned a dedicated representative who provides support and assistance.
