Description
It took a few days for Chip and Gadget to recover from their ordeal, a time during which the other Rangers took upon themselves to cover the new couple in relationship advices. Foxglove in particular used every occasion to corner the embarrassed Gadget, and share with her in vivid detail her expertise on more naughty subjects of the couple life.
Almost a week had passed when Chip declared a day off for the whole group, a day that him and Gadget would spend on a picnic together without the other Rangers around, their first official date as a couple. The chosen place was a spot in the park that Chip found during one of his usual relaxing walks, near enough to be reached by foot from the Ranger’s headquarter yet secluded enough to be almost completely unknown by both humans and animals, plus it was near a small pond with clear water promising fun and refreshment.
